Thank you for all the kind comments. This MOC was a labor of love and I hope everyone can enjoy it as much as I did building it. Thank you to Beyond the Brick for showcasing it. It was an absolute honor to be interviewed considering all the wonderful builds at WWB and on this UA-cam channel. My goal was always to just share this build with others and I’m so humbled and flattered to see it on your platform. THANK YOU!
The repetition of the helmets, rifles, spears, and shields creates patterns and a wonderful movement within the build that complements the organic placement of the base plates and flora. Fantastic work. Thank you.
If you're reading this Paul, well done! This is superb. I've been fascinated by this conflict my whole life, and I've been all over KZN visiting the sites. You absolutely nailed Rorke's Drift.
I am reading this and I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I strove for as close to historical accuracy as I could and read a lot as I built. I love the history as much as the Lego and it was a labor of love to get it right. Once again, so humbled and flattered at the reception my MOC has gotten. Thank you!
Sorry for the boast but I'm a bit of an expert on this battle. As far as I can tell, this is basically perfect. Even the rock escarpment underneath the mealie bag wall. Only thing I would say is that this Zulu impi had mainly not engaged at Isandlwana so was relatively fresh for the battle. Brilliant.
I love when people clearly do extensif research for their mocs 10/10
The history and detail behind this MOC is unparalleled! Definitely the most accurate and invested build out there.

This is one of the best MOCs I have ever seen. Incredible. I learned SO MUCH just from this video!!!
It adds so much to the video and build when proper and extensive historical research is done! Outstanding moc!

As an owner and shooter of a martini Henry rifle, I approve!
You have one!
COOL!
Spectacular!!! 😍We love English soldiers who always look great in their red uniforms. Congratulations for the great work. 👏👏

The real question is what do you know about zulu?
this was our land so we had to steal it from them
I like how Joshua has a slight Canadian accent.
