Before shooting at it, drill a hole at the top of the legs and fill with expanding foam before you put it together. Glue the legs to the body and metal tubes to the legs with this same foam or PL Premium
@@PCFithian I will have to take a look at mine then. The legs are a bit wobbly, so my buck is leaning. Was going to take your advice and glue the legs with PL premium, but it seems there are several types. Is there a specific version that you would recommend?
u saved me a big mistake! I was goin to by this for me and my buddies we all have high speed crossbows! glad I watched this review before I bought this! thanks again for u review!
Upgrades are effortless.Target insert is soft for high power bows.I sawed the insert in half ,gorilla glued a thin scrap piece of laminate flooring in between the 2 sides.Drill a hole in the plastic parts and fill with expansion foam if your accuracy bites.24 hours later it was strong enough for my 380 fps crossbow. Will last plenty long enough to pay for itself. Removing the bolts requires a little more grip strength but didn't damage the carbon bolts.I refuse to spend more than necessary for a target. If you're hitting it on the legs ass or head then stick to block target until you get land the zero.
Excellent review. You should definitely do more reviews as you covered pretty much everything one would want to know about a product. One question though, would you consider using this in the field as a decoy in your shooting lane (that you could also shoot when you get bored - ha!)?
+CootShooter Thanks for watching and I see no reason why you can't do that. I take mine out to a dude ranch all the time and leave it out for days at a time. Just watch out for the bears, they tend to tear them up for some reason.
It all depends: 1) How far are you shooting it form 2) How consistent are you It will easily stop your arrow. But the closer you are, the more penetration (and hence), more damage The foam does heal, to a point, but hitting the same spot over and over will wear it out in a very short time.
Shopping for the a 3D target & appreciate the effort you took to share this as well as your opinions. I hate to be "that guy' but horns? It's a deer man, they're called antlers. Plastic shaped like antlers, ok.... But antlers dude! I wonder what it's like at a dude ranch? Lot of dudes around I guess...... Probably did a lot of dudely things......
Okay you got me Antlers, so when you get stabbed do one, do you say "Antlered" or Horned? What is it like at a Dude Ranch? Lots and lots of cowboys, wranglers, cowboy wanna be's oh and flies, plus a ton of horse manure everywhere.

Are the legs hollow?
@@genericyoutubeuser8957 They were on mine.

Great vid Man Smile More God Bless Stay Safe man 👍👍
Is the body hard plastic? Just wondering if the body would break if you missed the insert
The body is foam, only the legs are plastic.
@@3DArchery thank you!
.. paid 25 bucks for it at a pallet store.. nice product to practice with. anything higher than 55ilb will tear the heck of the insert.
For a 45 pound compound bow will this do?

Where did u buy this I live in cali
You can find them by doing a Google or Amazon Search.
but how did it taste?
can you use it for air rifles shooting .22 pellets?
I guess you could. They might bounce off after a while though. as the foam dries out, it hardens.
Can you shoot a crossbow at it ??
They say it will
I have one but I just didn’t wanna ruin it by shooting a crossbow at it
They say it will stop that and Broadheads. How many times is the question.
