I've been really blessed in archery.
3 years ago, my wife went hunting with me for the first time. 2 weeks later, she told me she wanted a bow. She shoots an Xpedition Xperience.
My best friend the following year decided he wanted to join me on a hunt. Within a month, he bought his bowtech.
Last year, one of my former employees decided he wanted to get into the sport. He bought an elite terrain.
Within the last 4 weeks, I've gotten another friend and his wife addicted to archery. Jon bought a Darton Prelude 32, and his wife shoots an Xpedition X30.
I've gotten to introduce 5 people to this addiction. Everyone of them (like myself) are in one form of recovery or another. In part, I owe my over 8 years of drug free living to archery. I ALWAYS have someone to shoot with at the local range. Just like shown in your video, we walk the 28 targets with some friendly competition and a bunch of laughs. This year, I'll have a total of 4 tag holders in the woods of Washington with me. I'm last shooter because I'm more excited about watching one of them harvest for their first time, than I am over notching my own tags.
I've always loved this sport. The memories and friendships created through the flight of the arrow.
The laughs and lessons presented with every missed shot, or shot not taken.
Loving the videos, Tim. Keep them coming.

I find it very sporting that JJ always gives you extra information about points to improve
I see you both shoot with a Bowtech, but can you give more info on the type of sight and stabilizers?
I have the Bowtech SS34 left-handed ready for me in the store, but have yet to complete it with a sight (Axcel Sight Slider Landslyde Picatinny Mount with AV-31 or the AV-41 Scope Single Pin .019 Green Fiber), stabilizers, etc.
    So any info is welcome!

loving the vids tc. hope you don’t mind friendly words from another just average shooter. in my average opinion draw length a little long. i know it’s probably comfortable to you because that’s how you’re getting the nose on the string, but knuckles on the back corner of jaw is a recipe for high and low misses.
if you ever video yourself while shooting try to get the arrow centered between your lips and chin. i’m willing to bet it will give you a much more comfortable anchor along the lower jaw bone than mashing them knuckles in back there, you’ll have to adjust the draw length to achieve this and still maintain form.

i Need Help with a decision i need to make. i have a bowtech sr6. i installed a vapor trail gen 7x rest on it. but the flex guard dampener is conflicting with the capture ring of the rest. i dont want to modify the capture ring nor do i want to remove it altogether. my question is, and hopefully people can confirm this. but can i just run my bow without the flexguard dampener? or will it be unsafe? i dont care if i feel more vibration in the hand. i can live with that if that means i can get this rest to fit and tune perfectly on my bow. thanks MFJJ and Tim Connor and anyone else who chimes in on my request for help

Listening to the bows. Mfjj's bow sounds healthy. Your bow sounds as if the string is s little to long. Like if you put a longer string on a recurve, its noisy, unhealthy, and weak. Something just dont sound right with the string.
