Agree, but for someone who does a lot of driving like Uber, or families with kids, the 2025 hybrid is a great choice. Can't beat 65 mpg in the city I just got the other day. More exactly 65.9 mpg and 61.1 mpg on another trip. 50 mpg on hwy.
I bought the new 2025 camry XSE. I love the new hammerhead shark front end vs. my sons 2022 camry SE with the mustache front end. Also like the new integrated screen vs. the tablet style that sticks up on the 2022. The only thing I'm having to get used too is the ecvt transmission. It's reminds me of a torque converter on a snow mobile. Lol I hope it lasts longer than a standard CVT that Nisson uses in a lot of their cars. I got the Heavy Metal exterior color with the upgrade 19in. wheel and light package. It matches perfectly! Still learning on hyper mileing it. My first hybrid car.
Black or red? I'm 62 the new Camry is also my first optional powertrain. The heavy metal is by far the best color. But I could not do red leather. The darker the interior cabin the better. I'm hoping for 15 trouble free years or more. Anyhow. Good luck.
No belts in an ECVT, uses a planetary gearset which should be extremly reliable. Less moving parts than a traditional automatic transmission. The Nissan CVT uses a belt similar to a snowmobile (except the belt is metal) which stretches over time and starts slipping.
@alexs_wrex I'm just glad they have the AWD option which I got because I live in Wisconsin and have to drive in the ice and snow. I hope the lower ground clearance won't be a problem? We will see!
The 2025 looks like a small Cybertruck.....which isn't a good look, IMO. The 2024 looks much better in the front end. The interior of the 2025 is very nice however.
I like the look of the 2025 model better, this would be a perfect car for Uber/Lyft driving. I don't like either one in white, when I see a white camry I think they look like a kitchen appliance. other colors actually look good. If you want to drive a car that looks like a refrigerator by all means get a white one 😅
Personally I really like the design of the 2025 Camry. I'm still probably going to go with a 2025 Civic completely loaded but I like the performance it offers over a larger mid size car. I'm coming from a Mazda 6 which I really have enjoyed but it's just a tad too large for a large city and tight parking garages.
New one looks like a Hyundai airport rental mixed with a Corolla/Prius. Not getting a strong Camry vibe from this front end. They should have used an Avalon or Lexus design language.
The 2024 xse with the v6 is way better.
I agree 👍

Enjoy the new Camry! It's definitely a good overall car. I just wish there were more options, especially when it comes to the powertrain.

I agree, the old one looked better. At least the interior is better now.

I really like the blue that the 2024 I drove had. It was subtle but looked nice.

I love the look of the current gen Civics. Solid choice.
how is steering ? lighter or still heavy ?
It seemed lighter to me.
2018-2020 I liked best. Didn't like the tablet infotainment and 2025 isn't very attractive.
I like the variety with the Pre 2025 models. They look much better.
The Camry might be a car nobody really wants to drive. But it's also a car nobody will really fault you for driving.
Lol very true.

Lol yea not their best design
Don’t compare a SE to an XSE
Regardless of the trim, everything I said applies to both model years as a whole

They have made some improvements for sure. Just with there was more variety/options.
