Exactly what I thought. It absolutely roars through that thing. Questioning of the zoomed out version of the video is slightly sped up. I can say with some certainty that I would grey out on this.
this looks like it's going to be the best paced dive coaster BY FAR with how much its hauling through the layout! I'm super excited to ride it this summer when I go to Dorney!
ride drop+height+drop angle of descent. Having a beyoncé vertical drop gives the rides pull out more room for speed increase which also increases the positive g’s that are exerted onto you.
@@ThoosieJP you’re such a nerd and in such a hurry to respond that you didn’t realize your response had nothing to do with what I said.” This” what is intended ? are you trying with the best writing? I simply was asking if that was the case which you were no help with.
Man, what a tight design. Not just in its footprint, but in how much it accomplishes within the length of its track. Not a moment wasted and NO MCBR. With any luck, it'll be my first dive coaster.
Honestly can't wait to ride this come May. Never been to Dorney before (I live in SW Virginia so it's a bit of a drive away, 7 hours give or take) but decided this year was the year to tackle it and this looks like it'll be a hell of a fun ride.
@@ThemeParkPlunge ya I think that area will become a hot spot and has potential for a coaster war emerging. Idk what is going to happen with the merger but if Dorney does well this year Cedar Fair wants to heavily invest in the park and bring it closer to one if their tier 1 parks over the next 10 years. Then you have Hershey already killing it and Great Adventure trying to become a resort destination.
Having Yukon Striker at my home park, I feel like this won't quite live up. But that tilted loop/helix looks pretty darn cool. It'll be a nice addition to Dorney (especially so close to Possessed).
Looks great in every way ... BUT , ONE ejector style neg G speed hump/airhill would have felt amazing. All the hilltops are rolling over. I like the feel of a quick hump on this style train
Looks awesome, except it lasts 25 seconds from the top of the first hill until the final brake run. At least Maxx Force has something amazing at the beginning to separate it, but that's also it's gimmick. This seems a little disappointing for something without any real special features.
Wonder how much each mannequin weighed... like were they all 450lbs to drag it through at that speed? The angled loop has grey out written all over it.
Exactly. It's like an uncoiled Emperor - but even shorter in track length. Emperor is fine - has the great pacing, too - I just think that Dorney deserves better/more after going so long without a new coaster.
My left ear enjoyed the audio, my right ear got sad since it got left out though. But fr, this looks like a solid dive coaster. Inversions look fantastic.
Meanwhile, GADV’s new ride hasn’t even gone vertical despite a long ass winter. Hopefully post merger Six Flags actually prioritizes having new rides open by April/May.
@@haydfors I did 🤦♂️ IM ran faster than what I was expecting. Most dives run pretty slow throughout their layouts, like Sheikra or Griffon. Iron menace seems to whip through its short layout.
Very nice. I don't understand why it took so long for these wide body vertical coasters to become mainstream. I was making these in Rollercoaster Tycoon back in 1999. This looks like a nice layout that doesn't take that much space. =)
Dorney Fans are eating GOOD! These B&M Dives are people magnets!
Holy shit this could be a top tier dive just looking at that pacing
Jeez it goes crazy fast through the angled loop
Exactly what I thought. It absolutely roars through that thing. Questioning of the zoomed out version of the video is slightly sped up. I can say with some certainty that I would grey out on this.
It’s empty, it will be slower with people, no?

BEYOND*** not beyoncé 😭
@@koastinnwithkoolI was just thinking, 'Wow! Is there nothing that woman can't do?!'
@MothNfern make music that isn't overrated
Because there's no mid course brake run.
The first run looked like it didn’t stop at the top because it was FLYING and the G’s at the bottom of the first drop looked powerful
they probably dont have the catch on. or if it was on oh boy the back row is going to be something else

@@EmberMcLain87 they often test dive coasters like that. I just was not able to see if this was that case.
That Inclined Loop looks intense
Iron Menace looks too intense for me!
This ride looks amazing, can't wait for a coaster idiots on with it.
No sepia filter and brake noise at 1:07?
Dang it’s gonna be straight hauling in the summer if it looks like this in the winter
The G force looks intense on that drop. Can't wait to visit.
0:35 this one's for the left ears, specifically
Yeah I thought my right AirPod died lol
For any people who are unfamiliar a block zone is a section of track that only one train may occupy at a time
When I worked at Kennywood I used that spiel to explain block zones when I was training people on my rides
This high key looks like a great 2000 foot long ride. Makes the most of its duration.
Awesome to see a new coaster running for the first time!
Got me all excited...cant believe I'm using the word "intense "to describe a diver!
Dorney Park is my home Cedar Fair park, so I can't wait to get some laps on this thing when it opens!
Me too I live in New York and it’s the only cedar fair park that I can fit in a daytrip
I like the look of that drunk loop, sponsored by San Miguel I think 😂😂
As long as not one single centimeter doesn't rest where the pond and all of that were....might be crazy fun and terrifying at the same time!
Man, what a tight design. Not just in its footprint, but in how much it accomplishes within the length of its track. Not a moment wasted and NO MCBR. With any luck, it'll be my first dive coaster.
Wow; that looks like a lot of fun! Now we just need some theming...
God that looks so bad ass and fun for a dive coaster .....and looks like it's going much faster than actual run speed
Ok this looks good!
That looks pretty fast for an empty train on a dive coaster in March!!
Wow! Fast and snappy!
Lowkey looks like it’s hauling👀👀

HOLY CRAP THAT IS HAULING
This is at the top of the list of new things to experience this year. Like Top 3 and it’s at Dorney Park.
Dorney Park has a big future planned if they do well this year.

The pacing is unreal.
About god damn time they brought back the inclined loop
Like that it has more inversions than most dives but it’s still slower and shorter
This fucking looks better than any dive. That pacing is engineering to its finest....Middle of march? 😊
that off axis loop looks like a good time. Surprised you don't see more of those around
Looks quite good actually
Damn it’s hauling
Is it just me or does it look like you’ll get great airtime coming out of that 2nd inversion
Looks short but sweet. Love the angled loop.

This looks like its gonna have amazing capacity

That thing flies through the course. Seems the hang isn't as pronounced as other dives though. Going to be a long wait for a short ride haha
Reminds me of Valravn at cedar point
that thing looks pretty intense
That incline loop looks super intense!
That angled loop looks crazy man
It's cruisin
That is quite quiet.
Something like Medusa(I haven’t heard many coasters lately) at great adventure screams so loud. Why is menace so loud.
Thats got some punch to it! Bout time
What happened with the panning of the music?
Wonder how much each mannequin weighed... like were they all 450lbs to drag it through at that speed? The angled loop has grey out written all over it.
Why does Dorney get a nice B&M dive and all GA gets is a low capacity vekoma?
Cause GA wasn't going to get anything at all but the Vekoma kinda fell in their lap .
Cause SFOG is a trash park.
cuz dorney needed something new 😭 what kinda question is this
A lot like the Yukon Striker at Wonderland....which is an amazing ride
its so short but at least the east coast has a b&m dive coaster
Wish it was a bit longer but man, what a "dive" this is. lol
It's a baby Yukon Striker!
Why is the layout so short haha?
Oh no problem we’ll tear this down and build a new park trash can instead
Holy pacing
Iron menace, more like steel vengeance
SO Short!
so glad its running fast enough so they won't have to put the aire force one sparkles and swooshes over the official pov video
