- The Coaster Idiots visit Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania! I grew up going to this park and something I've always loved about it is the low crowds you'll find there (on most days)! We also have to give a huge thank you to @DorneyParkPR for hooking us up with Fast Lanes and Meal Plans for the day! We had a fantastic time and I can't wait to return! Go visit ASAP and ride Iron Menace!

Wow, new Dorney upload! I sure hope Jen doesn’t crawl out of the woodwork to over-advocate for Talon!
Have you ever ridden Talon at Dorney Park?!?
Over advocate? No such thing.

Second best orange and blue coaster in the state!

Let B&Ms be LOUD!!!!
F- yesssssss... I love that loud sound of a coaster... Like the sound of the incredible hulk coaster at universal 😍🤟
B&M’s loud! Gotta love the roar.
They actually filled the track and supports with sand to muffle the roar.
A small park still could manage three B&Ms and a hyper. impressive!
I 100% agree that demon drop is a credit. “It’s a togo ultra twister.” Exactly!
Not a credit. It’s a drop tower on rails
@@coyotegames156So the Superman ride at Magic mountain is a space shot on rails too
@@coyotegames156 it doesn’t matter if you count it or not, just saying that it fits all logical definitions of a roller coaster, just not the marketing.
I was there earlier this month. Got two rides on everything with no wait, did all of the good flats, and was out by 3. Really enjoyable park. Went to Hershey earlier the same week, but Dorney was the more enjoyable day despite being a worse park, since it was a little less hot and we weren't waiting in line all day.
I went in June and it is a very underrated park for sure.
HersheyPark is probably my favorite park excluding universal. But Dorney is highly underrated and definitely in my top 10. No lines and if they do they move pretty quick imo.
🤫 try to keep Dorney our little secret
Let those B&Ms breathe that roar~ That's why I love hearing Leviathan going through the layout
Me too
I love them B&Ms to be loud for sure, the roar always brings a smile to my face
11:28 GP dialogue 😂
Awww you all are so sweet! And congrats to the guy getting hitched.
Steel Force, one of my favorite coasters. Good memories going to Dorney!!
It's totally a credit. It's a freefall rollercoaster model. The intention of a freefall ride (which didn't exist back then) using rollercoaster tech. If Mack's PowerSplash intends to be a water splash ride (with a boat) using rollercoaster tech then...
You caught me on Iron Menace at 5:36, middle row middle seat! Dry side of the park was pretty dead that day. Waterpark was a little crowded but overall an easygoing day!
1:25 you ain’t lying! The hills at both Dorney and Hershey are brutal 😂
Talon is definitely the best invert in PA. Heading back at the end of September, hoping for light crowds in the morning.
There are only two...
I mean….there’s possessed and there’s Merlin’s mayhem. And Talon is better than those too.
Hershey is my home park, and Great Bear's roar is iconic. Let them be loud!
One thing about Mclovin’, he gon always have a drink in his hand 😂
At 7:43 I bursted out laughing when you added the sound again lol, great vlog!
Nothing makes me more hype than hearing the roar of Montu and Kumba from a mile away, so yeah the quieter newer ones are a little less exciting to be around (bit weaker too imo).
This is one of the parks I’m sad I’m missing currently! Visiting friends in Phily, which led me to Six Flags: Great Adventure and tomorrow is Hershey Park! Gotta knock off all the cool rollercoasters I’ve seen because of this channel!
I like my B&M's loud, hear that roar!!
Me and my brother just went on a huge trip, I'm 15 and hes 18, and when we went to dorney, there was absolutely no one, so happy it wasn't packed, great video by the way, really look up to you
1:51 NOT THE NYAN CAT THEME SONG 😭😭 ETR is gonna give me flashbacks to my childhood 😂😂
I met Uncle Nate at Cedar Point this year. He's a great guy.
Stahhhhhppp you're making me blush
@@Uncle_NateHi uncle Nate. It’s me your long lost nephew.
Great video man! Love Dorney Park, didn’t love the idea of another B&M at first for Dorney but I came around and do enjoy Iron Menace.
15:45 HUGE CONGRATS!!!
Talon is so good. Strangley its actually a weaker invert but still a super good ride.
I love the B&M Roar 🦁
I definitely like my B&Ms loud. I'm jealous of the day you had, we went back in mid-June on a weekday and were flooded with school groups. It wasn't terrible - and on previous trips we've always been lucky once everyone goes to the waterpark. But this year was a cooler day, so nobody went to the waterpark and we had a few longer waits. But it's a fun underrated park, and glad they finally got a new coaster, which we enjoyed a lot too.
100% Dorney is my home park! SO EPIC WITH NOOOO LINES!
Demon drop is an elite ride, my whole family are also thosies and we all have demon drop shirt, and yes it’s a credit, it is the best ride at dorney
The louder the B&M the better
I want to visit so badly! I grew up with Demon Drop at Cedar Point and miss it.
Steel Force was my 100th credit this summer. Love that park.
its always great to see my home park get shown love ❤
Dorney Park is great. It's just nice and comfortable you know?
This park is awesome. Never bad lines, crowds a bit less trashy then great adventure.
But y’all love for demon drop is a bit much 😂 fun ride but I guess the novelty of it has it stand out.
Love Dorney. This was my home park by default since my school's marching band always got free tickets to play there.
6:27 calling everything dogs again 😅
Wasup! On Sunday the 25th at log flume I saw you! When you were next in line to get on, I was the kid in the back of the boat! I didn’t say hi. Great video!
Just visited Alton Towers. Incredible park with the most unique coasters due to their rude neighbors. Only a couple rides had 45 min waits in September, most were 5-15 including Nemesis!
one of my best memories is visiting this park on a weekday right after Talon was built. it was *completely* dead, staff wasn't even making us get out of the front row to ride again on both Steel Force and Talon (others too but those were the ones we rode over and over).
I went to Dorney Park for the first time this summer, and I thought it was amazing! Super underrated place! Demon Drop, Steel Force, Talon, and Iron Menace are my favorite rides there!
I went to dorney over the summer too! Talon is by far the smoothest coaster ever ridden!
Demon Drop, man I wish they wouldn’t have gotten rid of the Krazy Kars, I saw one of them catch on fire.
Hydra is okay, but man Hercules “hurt your knees” was something else.
I just did Knoebels, Hershey, Dorney last week.
Throwback Gwazi merch represent!
I grew up 10 min from there. We used to go every almost ever Friday night in junior high/high school. Would love to see Cedar Fair give them a little more love, but Iron Menace was a great start and addition to the park. Also, it's almost always empty during the day while Wildwater Kingdom is open. Lines start building up around 3-4pm. That's how it used to be anyway.
As someone who went to Dorney for the first time about a month ago, it was a really nice park! It's not too tiny or too large and the ride selection is diverse. Plus, it has its own waterpark, which is also nice! In my opinion, if your looking for a good park to visit with friends or family, Dorney is a great option!
I love this park I ride the rides in the morning go to the waterpark and then I go back on the rides it’s super fun
Another banger vlog, keep up the great work Ryan! 👍
Ayyyy perfect timing! Heading to dorney this weekend 👏
Making my way here in October, cannot wait!
Jersey guy/NJIT Alumni over here in the Princeton area! I WANNA join you guys so bad!!! LOL,
Dorney is so underrated. Such a fun park!
I went to Japan this year and came across not one, but two Intamin Gen1 drop towers that were SBNO. I need me some Demon Drop back in my life!
B Meh is right! Demon Drop is the best ride at Dorney!
My dad rode Demon Drop when it was at Cedar Point back in the day.
Home park is hershey.... give me that loud B&M
Great Bear is such a loud coaster
I agree about your love for Dorney. I spent 3 consecutive days in June and 3 in July this year. A little disappointed in Iron Menace. Not one of my favs there. Lot's of other rides I really enjoy. Sorry Ryan - 6 days at Dorney and 0 at Great Adventure. I also have all season / park fast lane with Cedar Fair. That played into my park choices.
Chickie and Petes in that park is a classic
Hershey Park my home park
10:20 Needs a squeaky wheel, the horn at the station, air release, and a lot louder metal clunking
Demon drop is a credit ay ay ay
Say hi to the neck breakers 3:26
Iron Menace, while a controversial coaster, has definitely rounded out the park extremely well from top to bottom. Pound for pound, it probably is the best park out there in terms of line sizes to ride quality. The only ride that usually has a consistently painful wait is usually Wild Mouse. Everything else is maybe 30 minutes max on the busiest days
I was so surprised to see no lines. I was there recently on a Saturday afternoon, only there for 1 hour because it got stormed out, but managed to get on 2 rides on Iron Menace, and a ride on Possessed and Steel Force. Basically no lines for anything including Iron Menace
Such a classic coaster idiots lineup
5:31 was that a sekiro reference?
Come to Canadas Wonderland for Sept 14th ACE event!!
Loud B&Ms are definitely better.
Loud B&Ms are the best
Gonna be my 1st time this Saturday. Hopefully the lack of lines continues through Labor Day weekend 🤞
The reason that the queue cover wasn’t there was because the media is cold enough as is give them some heat😂😂😂
So I just went to Hershey and experienced all their coasters, and I think they’re all perfect for the park but I rode stormrunner in the front because I expect those rides to only be about the launch… holy shit the forces in the front row… it’s not toro but damn. That’s also what I say when I see the price of a house near there
3:02 was that dude staff or what lmao
I was gonna say first but a guy said not to say first so imma respect that.
The park I got over my fear of rollercoasters
From what I heard the jolt was a defect from the steel company and B&M isnt happy with it so they are looking at replacing that section with new track. Seems to make sense cause B&M cares too much about quality for them to make that mistake
Every B&M ive ridden have been glass smooth so it's weird that Iron Menace has a jolt. Hopefully they can get that and the rattle fixed.
We'll see what kind of work will be done with Iron Menace over the off-season.
It left a decent first impression, good G's, theming, and drop. It will be interesting to see how the park irons out the kinks, so to speak.
we built Iron Menace :)
I been there on 2 weeks ago
A lot of old CP rides. Always wanted to go to Dorney Park. I live on the west side of PA and Kennywood is about 1 hour drive and CP is about 3 hours give or take from me.
Odd bucket list: I'm terrified of not getting to Dorney before Demon Drop is removed. Legit seems like one of the coolest drop towers ever (already mad I missed Glenwood Caverns indoor drop before the inferior safety update retheme)
"I first rode Thunderhawk back in 2003 when I was 7" 👴🏽👴🏽👴🏽
Demon Drop is the best ride at Dorney…by a long shot
God I love Demon Drop so much - even better when they let you keep riding it over and over again. Puts hair on your chest
Posessed seems to be having issues lately. I went on it about a week ago and it broke down mid cycle. we had to wait 10 minutes for maintenance to come wheel us back into the station.
True! But I think kings dominion midweek is better?
I have a feeling the reason the new B&M coasters are rough like Penguin Trek isn't B&Ms fault because I believe they out source their U.S. products track manufacturing to another company in Ohio so it could be that company not smoothing something properly or something
Go bills!
Why is there two circles cut through the hydra track lol? Never seen they on B&M track
LOVE THE PARTY BOY MUSIC!!! 😂😂😂😂
My man even got Senator Clay Davis in there too! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Where’s Jen?! I thought her home adress was talons station?!
dont say first
second
10:07 poor kid
Demon drop is definitely not a credit. It’s a drop tower on rails.
Dorney Park or Hershey Park
JEN WHERE ARE U?!?!?!? 😭😭😭
