You have to adjust the volume of the music on your video, to hear you properly I turn up the sound then sometimes the music blasts on

Hi, great video. Can you/someone tell if it is possible to connect bedside lamp2 to a temp/humidity sensor using an external gateway.
I'm trying to set up a few different light color/schemes including on/off a humidifier with the data from the sensor.
And with the same external gateway connect the lamp2 to a Xiaomi mi band4 to turn off when sleeping.

Hi, I wanted to know if the sunset and sunrise scenarios work for you? When I launch them I stay on a light atmosphere that does not change. Normally sunrise should start from ultra low light to reach full daylight and sunset should start from warm light and decrease in brightness until it goes out completely. I don't know what I'm doing wrong (if I'm doing something wrong ...). Thank you in advance for your return. (I live in France and have a européan version of the lamp)

I'm looking for the sunrise preset (10 minute increasing brightness before dimming). I tried the Xiomi Home and Yeelight apl, can't find it. Also, the Xiaomi Home app looks quite different to my version (maybe it's because I'm from the Netherlands or they updated it and made it worse?) Any help would be much appreciated!

It has a cyan colour on the setting? sometimes cyan colour becomes white in Mi.
I got 2 of those in the bedroom and the Xiaomi Desk lamp. Those are the only 3 devices that consistently love to disconnect from my Wi-Fi and can only be reactivated by a power cycle.

You can group them by rooms and set automation in the Mi Home App. But I use Alexa or google assistant it is more easy to use and manage.

It is a bedside lamp I wouldn't recommend it as a main light for the room.

Both needs to be connected. They don't have battery.
Does it remember state after power cut so that it doesn’t turn on if it was off after power is restored?
It it is unplugged it won't remember it. I will only retains the state when it's enabled in the settings and not unplugged.

It simulates the sunrise, the light will gradually get brighter within 15 mins.
Sunset within 10 mins.

Unfortunately you can’t connect the temp and humidity sensor with this. Just directly by Bluetooth to your phone.

OK, so, this is very cute and everything, but what I really want is a lamp just like this, but with physical controls on the side so I don't need bluetooth or wifi to control it. Does such a thing exist anywhere?
Once is paired up, this can pretty much be controlled manually using the controls at the front of the lamp.
On the other side, why would you want that? The idea is to be able to operate it remotely so you don't have to reach it or operate many at the same time.
@@Asthbendriel Sometimes my wifi works perfectly, and sometimes it completely shits the bed on me. Not being able to control my lights when the wifi isn't working properly is a pain in the arse.
@@quasarsphere I've only had it for a couple days so far, but from what I can see you can turn it on/off and adjust brightness straight from the lamp with the controls, you can even switch between the preset colors.
I'll kill my WiFi tomorrow and see if it's still working, just remind me in 12 hours to tell you how did it go 😂😅

It needa wifi to set automation. Without wifi you can only use the manual controls on the lamp itself.

Not the ideal light for the whole room but yes you can read a book close to it.

@@gadgetsLZ I am using Global version of the app, but I think my unit is from China, but I got it all sorted out, basically Yeelight app is close to useless on setting up the Bedside Lamp, so once I've downloaded the Mi home app, setup was as simple as video shown. 1. Home app cannot control any of the advanced features like timer or color flow.
2. On my iPhone 6S the Xiaomi app does not have any settings at all but merely has a button for turning the lamp on/off
3. the design of the V2 is ridiculous: on the back is the power socket sticking out like an Apple Pencil 1 that is charging. On the front you have this ugly control strip which darkens the lamp. There’s no way to have it look like a beautiful plain lamp and merely focus on the color

Muy buen video pero tengo una pregunta. Tengo la lampara y la uso con google assistant pero cuando le digo que cambie a blanco con la voz se pone un blanco apagado del modo "color" no ninguna de las tres tonalidades de blanco del modo "blanco". ¿Sabeis como se pueda activar dicho modo con la voz? tampoco encuentro la forma de poner con la voz el modo "fluir".
el asistente de google funciona asi xd creo que no hay forma de cambiar eso, tengo un foco inteligente y hace lo mismo cuando le digo que lo ponga en blanco
Puedes intentar de repente con "blanco frío" que es la máxima temperatura del foco, luego está el "blanco cálido" que creo que es la tonalidad que te está poniendo.

@@aggelostzinis704 I found out that the Yeelight APP works fine also and let me creat Widgets with light modes,scenes, and turn on and off, which doesn't happen with MI HOME app. I had to connect the YEELIGHT app with the IFTT app for turning of when leaving home.
