geekista I’ve paid for one. Before I did, I was able to try it out in store. Played with it for half an hour. One month later, she’s absolutely correct to recommend it for her own hair type. And I would recommend it for my hair type. On my niece, the curls fell right out. On my sister, it’s the only device with which she’s ever had a curl that stays. On my other sister, it causes lots of frizz. So the best thing anyone could do, is have a shower, put your hair up. Go shopping and if you happen upon a dyson display, try it out.

Melissa you could probably lift a small section of your hair and have the amount I have on my head! Haha! For you and all the beautiful people on here with heads full of hair... get one if you can! Hi Melissa! I wanted to know if you can speak to the difference in damage you see to your hair now that you’ve been using this for awhile. I want to invest in this purely for that reason - my current routine seems SO damaging to my hair (direct iron heat). This would be worth the investment for me if it really does damage your hair less. Does all this tech really mean less damage to hair?

This is no less heat damage than a curling wand, and because it’s blowing air, it’s only going to add to the frizz. Don’t see the point with this technique.

Wow. That is not how you're supposed to use it. The airwrap wraps your hair by itself. You dont have to manually wrap it before turning it on.
I mean if this is the way that works best for you then that's great, but this isnt the recommended method.
