I never really comment on UA-cam videos but I was so determined to return my Dyson, until I followed your tutorial. Everyone was complimenting my hair saying it looked as though I had it styled professionally. I can not thank you enough, you've made me fall in love with my Dyson. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for these simple styling tips using the airwrap. I was going to return it cuz I just couldn’t get myself to style like the way professionals do UNTIL I bumped into your tutorials. I have never styled my hair ever and you made it so simple for a beginner like me. I have type 3b curls and using the airwrap gives me a different look for every occasion.
Pausing at 3:19 to say: thank you for explaining why you want dry roots and damp ends, and actually showing us what that looks like. The "this is the process I follow and the products I use" tutorials are great starting points, but to troubleshoot a process, you need to understand why you're doing each step, and how to tell if you've done it right. And for me, maintaining "damp" is actually kind of tricky. My hair dries and rewets unevenly, so I have to pay really close attention.
Girl I wasn’t convinced I wanted to spend the money on this until now. I have very similar hair texture and your hair came out bomb! Also, you’re an awesome teacher. I’m definitely pinning this video!
This is how I use my curling wand and also the reason I've fried my hair. I'm so glad I found this tutorial! Knowing I can still have my favorite style without killing my hair makes me so happy!
You give the best hair tutorial ❤️ it’s so detailed and makes me feel like I can do it even tho my hair will never look like yours 🥴 Dyson is still my favorite hair tool.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I’ve been struggling with my hair for months and I followed your tutorial exactly and I could cry at the outcome! So happy
This technique is great, thank you! Last 2x I used the Airwrap I cupped each wave and sprayed it with Kristin Ess soft shine wave spray as I let it go. That really made a difference both in the immediate look and also how it held up during the day.
I don’t have this, I keep debating. But I have a question. Couldn’t you use the barrel you are using on your left, on your right, and not have to turn it upside down? As I said, I don’t have it so not sure about the specifics. Your hair looks fantastic, and very detailed video, love it!!
Hi there - new sub from the UK! I found your tutorial to be really helpful - thank you so much 😊I bought the multistyler just over a month ago and have been struggling a little bit but I am learning a little more each time `i use my machine. And, my goodness your hair is so beautiful and full-looking #hairenvy
Thank you for the tutorial. For the very last step on your scalp to add volume.. can you confirm..when you are doing your left side the air is blowing the hair left and you are pushing/bumping the attachment right.. correct?
Hi, your hair looks really nice. Thanks for all the tips. How long did your curls last? I had a consultation with Dyson this afternoon and my curls dropped in less than 2 hours and my hair went back to its usual straight form. 😔 Perhaps it would have fared better with the right styling products.
Your hair is gorgeous! Would you be able to tell me what type of haircut you have? I also have thick hair and i wanna keep it long but it is alot of work maintaining it. So i wanna get a haircut that can make it lighter, but i have no idea which one i need
Ariba, I'm from Spain. I'd like to know if you have -or will do- a tutorial on how to dye your roots at home. I'm reluctant to go to my hairdresser because she's not being Covid-careful. Do you have a good brand to recommend for hair dye? Is Wella good? I'd like a product that doesn't ruin my hair. I tried it a few years ago and my main problem was that it wasn't even; and it's difficult to dye the back of my head where I can't see anything. Also, by the time I'm finished covering all the roots, it's almost time to remove it in the section I started with. I guess it takes practice but I suspect that some tips will come in handy.
Love this looks so pretty 😍 how long do the curls last? I had revlon brush found out recently has bore and it’s haram to use and need to buy the Dyson air wrap
Why turn the air wrap upside down with the opposite barrel? Would it not work the same if it wasn’t upside down with the correct barrel? Just got mine today so I’m confused lol
I have the same question... additionally she is ‘guiding’ the hair section on the barrel, she might not need to change the barrels... but I haven’t tried yet.
Hi, does using Airwrap make the hair frizzy, since it blows air to all the surrounding sections? I have been experiencing that, are there any tips to not get the hair frizzy using Dyson?
I don’t have it but, I have watched several videos. A tip it is to make sure it’s off before you remove the barrel from your hair. And oil! Find a good hair oil and put it through your hair to reduce frizz.
Her hair looks like it already has natural curl, that's why it looks so good. Try a little setting cream/spray before you curl. When you take the barrel out, hold the curl in your palm, spray it with hairspray or something similar to hold curl in place. Another idea is curl your hair a day or so after washing, I think curls hold better in hair that isn't freshly washed.
So this was happening to me, too. I have long medium thick hair and naturally straight. I don’t like using hair spray so I simply add heat protectant while it’s damp. I then add some argan oil and it makes my hair super soft and this has helped the curls stay nice and voluminous for two days.
I was struggling too- this is what I’ve learned to get my curls to last with the air wrap. Hair needs to be damp, I use the brush to prestyle like she did here- but leave it damp enough. I have to do smaller sections- I was trying to put too much in and it never lasted like that. After each curl, cool shot and spray with kenra dry texture spray and a shot or 2 of hairspray. Leave it and don’t finger comb until 10-15 minutes after styling. It lasts much better this way!
The same happened to me! Let your hair air dry a bit or only dry 70%. Texturizing spray, mousse , hairspray, dry shampoo all help. Small sections, small barrel. For sure lasts a day. Second day is looser.
I feel like this process is too difficult and long so to me dyson air wrap doesn’t worth so much money. Especially when you can buy for less a ghd... I spend 1 hour doing the beachy waves with the air wrap because i have to set in place every part of my hair or they won’t hold the waves. With the platinum+ I take 15 minutes and everything it’s done. I don’t even need to use a setting spray which is very bad for the environment. Of course I can see the difference between the two methods, the style with the air wrap is more sophistecated and I love it, but some people can’t even afford a ghd so I would totally raccomand them, if they want to buy a styler, to do not spend their money on the air wrap. Also I think it’s insane that you spend so much on a styler but you have to do and learn so many skills to use it correctly. For so much money I want my dyson to make me a burger. Want do you think about this? Let me know and please be kind ❤️
How do you blowdry your hair and curly it etc frequently but also have healthy curls? How do you prevent the damage that makes the curl pattern fall out when wearing hair naturally?
I’ve got naturally curly hair and use heat to straighten and curl quite often. I have healthy curls even after using tons of heat. One, Olaplex is AMAZING. RUN to get it. It’s legit worth every single penny. I use the 0 and 3. Then deep condition once a week using a heat source for it to penetrate. Also, use a heat protectant! But don’t just sprits it randomly. Give every single section a healthy dose of it. Curly hair can take on a lot of product without becoming greasy. This really helps reduce damage. Also use a hair oil. I love the OGX miracle hair oil i specially use it on my ends the most because that’s the part that gets the most damage. Sleep on silk and use silk hair ties. That minimizes breakage. Also, give your hair a break from heat at least once a month and use a hydrating leave in when wearing it curly. And don’t use heat repeatedly. Only a couple times to touch up. When you do, use a dry heat protectant. Again it prevents extreme heat damage. Dry bar and oribe make a good one. I haven’t found one in the drugstore unfortunately. I hope all of this helps! I think curly girls should be able to rock both natural and styled hair without sacrificing hair health and curl pattern.
@@Tiff-vi9kx Wow this is awesome information thanks! Its hard to get info because either people straighten curls or they believe in ONLY curls. My curls are a lot of work and I just can't do it all the time. I use a heat protectant (which turns out is wet and dry heat protectant - I didn't know that existed till you mentioned it but looked up my product). I probably don't put a lot though so I may have to increase the use. I have used Olaplex 3 and kept getting mixed information from hair stylists about using it. Will go back to it. Do you feel the 0 as well makes a lot of difference? I have heard mixed reviews. Do you deep condition after the Olaplex? Thanks again!
Nafessa Kassim I haven’t terrier olaplex O. But I’ve heard nothing but good things. Yes, you’re supposed to derpmcpndition after 3. It makes such a difference. And yes I know I feel the same way!! I personally love the versatility so I found what works for me and my hair’s health.
@@Tiff-vi9kx Thanks so much!!! Hopefully these suggestions you make and using the airwrap to try to decrease heat damage will help me not totally kill my curls. Thanks so much and have a great holiday!

Can you do a tutorial on how to sleep in you freshly blown-out hair? I always wake up with weird kinks in my freshly curled style, ughhh!
Silk pillowcases...buy several and switch out often, like 2 a week. In addition to saving your style, It also helps your skin.

Do the longer barrels fit in the original box?
Not really. I had to lay them down and stack them on top of each other to get the lid to close.
Is she using the smaller barrel?
