Oy Pete there's bots in your comment section
Would be cool to see an entire hashut themed army for 40k. Using leagues of votann and chaos marines to make a unique army
Just play Iron Warriors. :D
Vashtor kinda sorta fits that role now in 40k now
@@davidtrujillo1689 he ain't a dwarf tho
Next project
@thelastcrusader7032 I'm a night lords player, but do have some IW stuff planned
Seeing some Chaos Dwarf basic infantry conversions would be cool for allowing people to run a full force of Chaos Dwarves
Lots and lots of sculpting needed
This is badass! If you still want to make more primarch kitbashes I think using Sigvald to make Fulgrim would be sick
100% would make a great loyal/clonegim
Or AoS Morathi
@@flaviomonteiro1414 only demon and it feel like waste when we will get demon fulgrim in next year or two.
sigisvald is a good 2cm smaller than a primarch model.
I really appreciate that this was done with a relatively limited number of kits. Im hoping we see plastic Chorfs soon than later in TOW. For my tastes, i think you went a little too yellow with the magma effect but not that i can do much better 😅 many a model done with dry brushing yellow->red->black over a white base.
You could also use the kit the Cygor was from, combined with more Heldrake panels and the cast-off maulerfiend tendrils. And then the heldrake could be given the extra Forgefiend arms to make something. 3 kits, 3 models
Your kitbashes are so seamless that they even look like real models. Keep up the great work man
It looks so cool! The temptation of trying to recreate it for a chaos army is so big, it looks so cohesive as if it was meant to be. It’s an absolute beast!
Two things that take away from your model in my opinion. First would be the Grogon head as weird as it might sound. The reason is quite simple. It looks "too organic" and detailed for it to be "fire" or something "molten" (I suppose you could easily fix that). The second would be the tail. It looks a bit too long in comparison to the body giving it more of a "canine" or "feline" look if you disregard the head and look at just the body (in proportion to the body cow tails are usually not this long - they usually reach only to their knees).
But it looks very good nonetheless.
up to 13:50 i was thinking that it was a bit more of a Khorne mauler fiend bash at first, but dang you saved it lol
Amazing job. Wasnt sold on it until you added the heldrake bits. That really helped bulk it up and make it look more industrial.
This is the quickest I've gotten to one of your videos. Excited for it!
I like the more open head and the molten bull head, it makes the bull aspect more present
Wow absolutely incredible finally result!
This is a crazy conversion amazing work
This looks amazing!
man, this looks like a daemon engine used by the world eaters with that sick ass scheme, red and brass with a bull/goat motif
Brilliant piece of work!
Incredible as always Pete!!
Absolutely love your kitbashes, good job :)
That looks awesome!
I'm currently building one of these myself, and chose the same base model. A lot of the little ideas on this are really useful, especially the Heldrake wings for the shoulders and the steering wheels on the wrists.
I love some of the new design elements throughout the video, the intro and paint names part is super useful for checking at a glance!
I didn't get the chance to say hello during Warhammer Fest this weekend Pete, but I hope that had a great time. I've spent far too much money on Forgeworld resin this weekend.
Your my favourite warhammer table top Chanel. Keep up the great work!!
Great conversion, as usual! 😁 The new Seraphon are coming out, with a plastic Slaan... To continue the serie of Total War Warhammer models, it would be a great time for a Mazdamundi conversion 😉
I wouldnt mind seeing you try to build that canon platform thats at the start of the in-game video. Curious as to what you'd use and how you'd adapt the parts.
😍😍😍😍
Really love these Total War conversion
Amazing as always!
Thanks for another great video!
Ooooo, this might be my favorite conversion yet.
Amazing kitbash!
With the impending arrival of the Cities of Sigmar Battletome, I love the idea of using their flexible rules to represent a uniquely converted army. Sorely tempted...
It’s always amazing watching you work. I’m looking forward to the next Primarch, Nurgle Sanguinius from Mortarion, if that is indeed the next one you do.
This is mind-blowing. I need 10 of them. 😊
Looks amazing, agree about the head and I'd also love to see a way to build the arm blades as well but damn I'd be happy to have that in my army!
YES YES YES NEW UPLOAD LOVE IT
Pete must see Warhammer kits like how master builders see Lego in the Lego movie
This guy is awesome! I'd love to see your take on some foot soldiers for chaos dwarves since GW does not have many in their range right now being limited to just one miniature in the spire tyrants.
Looks cool.
Your kitbashing is amazing and inspiring. Would love to see the following ideas:
The great devourer becomes a full fledged chaos god and corrupts a space marine chapter
The proof, being almost as adaptable as the Tyranid, are allowed to eat multiple xenos including eldar, chaos daemons, Tyranid, and orks.
A death guard squad only afflicted with mental diseases (maybe thats more tzeentch?)
Have seen similar conversions of the maulerfiend done, it's a solid base and you've done a nice job. I would love to see some black added at the highest points of the magma/flesh though, like a cooled rock crust. To my taste the flesh is a little too bright.
Excellent conversion and kitbashing work. I've just picked up a load of mantic chaos dwarfs for kings of war. So that's my next project as I have a head start on the painting already.
As much as I'd love to have a go at making something myself my budget doesn't stretch to gw kits these days. I do have some warmachine kits laying around thou so might see what I can make outta them.
Here's an idea. Use Magnus and/or a Lord of Change to make Corvus Corax in his demonic form.
Always love seeing your conversions Pete, even if I don't particularly have too much interest in the armies or doing them myself.
It's been a while since you've done a new Kill-Team conversion. I'd love to see you convert the new Space Marine Heroes series into a Deathwatch Kill-Team when it comes out.
Great video, would live to see a dwarf kitbash.
Absolutely Stunning! Fantastic work Sir!! Thank You for sharing with Us here on the tube! Looking forward to the next video! Later
Please Please make a chaos dwarf Lammasu! GW needs to bring back that glorious giant head beardy boy and you are the greatest inspo of our age!
Nice work! Great to see more Chaos Dwarf with TWW stuff considering they didn't get that much for WHFB
I think it would be cool to see you do some sort of fully custom Steam Tank/Train at some point. The original Steampunk model is cool and one of the more iconic Empire Units, but a custom kitbashed one could be even better!
sweet more Total War: Warhammer based kitbash. awesome
id love to know petes process for figuring out how to convert a model into another
Yeah this gonna be fire
Watching this gave me an awesome direction on how to go about creating my custom defiler and spider rhino transport! The maulerfiend body when looking at it backwards kinda has that spiderhape to it. And if I add on some large mechanical legs that I found on Cults3D it could look really really cool! I just need to figure out how I'm gonna fill the massive hole in the but of the mini lol.
Hey Pete, I love your videos. They've inspired me to finally start trying my own hand at painting minis. I was wondering if you had any plans for a new kill team making video? I think a pretty cool theme could be a tempestus scion unit that specializes in fighting in the toxic deep levels of hive cities or forge worlds. I'm thinking a sort of drab, rusty color palette with heavy rebreathers and trenchcoats to deal with the toxic fumes, maybe some prostethics as well. Probably a bit similar to the death korps but more futuristic and high tech? I feel like they could look pretty cool.
Magnificent work, Pete. These Chaos kits work so well together! So great to see the coherent design themes from GW coming together in these builds.
Nice stuff
Would love to see your take on The Qumurah from Gaunt’s Ghosts!
Looks great! With regards to the glowing effects, the simplest improvement would be to make the reflections on the armour orange instead of yellow, ai think that would make the effect more credible since they are further from the source of the light.
Really nice. Used a lot of kits so it came to my mind . Would you try to do more one kit conversions? I think they are a bigger challenge and are cheaper thus more approachable
Cool idea: Maybe do a challenge of making a mini using only clipped parts.
The Chaos dwarf mortar would be nice to see
I love your content My dude ❤️, Thanks for The inspiration youve given me
I really like your Kitbashing videos and I really like your Kitbashing on the K'daai Destroyer and I have a suggestion for a future video, how about trying making a Kitbashing on Daniel the demon prince like how will your demon prince look like, a mix between Khorne/Nurgle filled with toxic rage or fully dedicated to one of the chaos gods or something else it would be interesting to see how your demon prince will look like.
So cool!!!!!
This is amazing 🤩 love to be able to buy one like this I have a full army but not this stunning model 👹👹👹👹❤️💯👍
I love the idea of using 40k kits for fantasy & vice versa!
With the new Seraphon kits coming out, i'd love to see some Aztec/Mayan Space Marine conversions, similar to the Carcharodon conversions you've done previously.
Obsidian Jaguars anyone?
Always incredible! I’ve been reading the first Ciaphas Cain book today and the ending gave me an interesting idea… (minor spoilers) Cain, Jurgen, Vail, and their retinue of troopers reminded me a lot of the Gaunts Ghosts box… a commissar, a sniper, a heavy weapons unit, etc…since I know you’re kitbashing a bunch of Valhallan troops, could be a fun idea for a future video! Probably will get lost in the comments but a lad can hope! (Maybe a good thing since Gaunt is easily my favorite commissar, would be sad to see him get chopped up)
Perfect!! Please do infantrymen
I have an idea of a kitbash which I would do if I had the skills and time:
All of the Chaos-Gods have some more virtuous aspects in their portfolio, so nobler-looking versions of their Greater Daemons could exist. So far I have come up with Lord of Change that looks more Eagle than Crow.
Kitbash idea - build a chaos spawn entirely out of dead animal bits©
The three quintessential ingredients added to Kadai Paneer are: onions, capsicum (green bell peppers) and tomatoes. This Kadai conversion had none of those but it still looks amazing.
I actually really like the glowing flesh effect. Think I'll do that for all the daemon engines for my Iron Warriors army. I have a Mauler/Forgefiend kit that I'm planning to magnetize so that I can use both. The glowing effect makes me picture a freshly made daemon engine that just rushes out of the Forge and into the battlefield.
I have an old chaos dwarf army, so… I may use this
It would be great to see a League of Votann Hellcanon conversion. Something high tech but incredibly corrupted.
other chaos guys - "we need to worship and revere daemons."
chaos dwarfs - "daemons are spicy batteries."
iron warriors - "yes."
do Ortan Cassius! wish i was good at kit bashing his old model so outdated! though i still love the have melted face and his lore....come on GW!
Would be great to see some more units form chaos dwarves. I think you qre right, CoS would be the best. You can have some nonsters, tanks. Even some chorf gyrocopters, even thought they are not in the Chorf army.
Hope to see more of my fevourite facrion brought to like in AOS (especially that the waiting for accual chorfs in AOS is just toooo hard to endure haha)
I personally would've put less armor onto the head and instead gone for a more golden cow idol theme with it where the head almost looked like a living piece of golden statue.
awesome
@hitmeupontele_gram111 I suppose you're a fake acount
I love it fully the organic plu mech look. I know my opinion isn't anything but I thought the hot spots needed a bit more depth idk if it's jus my older phones screen it looked tye dye to me
You need to do a full chaos dwarf army
I really liked this build for the most part, but for my tastes the streaking grime was done a bit over the top. Otherwise I'm really impressed. Great kitbash.
Many you could make a Vostroyan First Born with a Krieg body and maybe a green stuff hat, like your Valhalens but taller.
Could I suggest a piece? There's a common depiction of the Lion with well... two purple lions from Caliban. So, I'd love to see one of these lions. I phathom that the could be equivalent to Thunderwolfs for a homebrew dark angels successor chapter or in an informal game were the other player accept them being played with a Dark Angels force because it's cool.
PETE!, You do such amazing work, could you please do an Astorath the Grim Conversion!? The model is so old and small, just need my man at scale :)
I’d like to see your take on Astragoth or Drazoath
I maybe have a weird idea for a kitbash. I have the idea of kitbashing a Bowser Deamon Engine.
Chaos dwarves always have a special place with me. This looks amazing but the flames /flesh looks incomplete. Not sure why, perhaps stronger contrast?
I love it! Would you take up the challenge of making the whole CDwarf rooster though :P
I really liked the glowing effect, not sure if it would have been an improvement to take the highlight darkening up to red or even a drybrush of black, or go the other direction and cover the white with a florescent yellow, but I thought that the contrast between the magma skin and the armor paint job you did was incredibly punchy.
Hasut approves
I don't know what you see wrong here. I only see perfection 😊
Kinda random but I like the difference in back ground this one and Konrad Curze has it feels more grand
Maybe some conversions of current dwarf kits to make them more chorf-y!
Would you consider doing the dark eldar decapitator mandrake character for a future project?
im fairly sure they used the kdaai destroyer as a template for the forgefiend/maulerfiend
Needs forearm blades, the skull altar of Khorne would’ve been a good source.
I would like to see you try and convert Roboute Guilliman into Vulkan of the Salamanders.
Dread Saurian next
looks great but you are right
the head doesn't look that great
I would have tried to remove the nose and the eyes so that the plate is straight on the upper end of the mouth
When you do your priming do you add a few drops of thinner or is it flow improver?
I would like to see a basic chaos dwarf warrior to be honest
Hi! A huge fan of your kitbashing videos and really like your style. After new tyranids were shown, I understood that I want to make myself a small army of them. However, this will be my second army and I am ready to spend more money and time on this one. I want to give my tyranids look of sea creatures. Like, remove all legs, make fins, add some fish/snake/eel-like tails, maybe shrimp-like bodies, add different sea bottom terrain.
Initially I wanted to use Idoneth bits to achieve such results, but looking through their models I don't see enough parts for what I desire. For example, I don't see how to make gaunts models in the described style.
Maybe you have any ideas, where I can get some parts, that will fit into this idea? I am pretty much ok with using greenstuff and in my local tournaments it's okay to use not only GW plastic models, so using 3d printer is also ok.
P.S.: If by any means you find this idea interesting for your videos, I would be really proud if you use it.
