Right, right, right!!!!!!!!!!!! Jake Peralta is a true man not because he respects her lady but because he has full faith in her abilities and he is her biggest supporter. I just love so much that even amy was a little bit skeptical about she becoming a higher officer than Jake, Jake had no hesitation or even a pinch of a doubt. He loves her and there is no plot of jake being a little jealous of amy even though they both are very competitive. There is no question of that. Jacob Peralta is an amazing husband, far better than any husbands we have seen in pop culture so far where husbands are always portrayed as jealous or insecure when their wives are doing better than them. This is just not how jake's character was written. Jake Peralta is meant to be how a husband should be. With him, terry, Charles and Raymond and Kevin, the show just shows the amazing characters of husbands.
