It must be an American/ESPN/Top Rank agenda. Joshua deserves all the credit in the world. There was a reason why Joshua was the main event and why Wilder was the co-main event.
The Tank stans are unbearable. “Generational talent” 😂😂😂. Not a chance Al agrees with that. He just has to nod his head in this podcast. You lose some credibility if you think this. Does resume mean anything?! Is Tank even better than Teo, Haney, Loma or Shakur?
Tank is also missing the talent of these guys too. You've never seen any of these guys struggle, getting outclassed, outboxed or be in a disputed fights, like Tank. Tank is a battler & it's not even against the best of his division lol. He never fought Loma, Lopez, Kambosos or Haney..just another hypejob in Ryan Garcia..that's literally his best win..is a "UA-camr" 🤣
He has time to back it up but the rest of his boxing peers are leading the line in terms of legacy - he is making good business though, just not legacy atm
Tank Davis is considered a "generational fighter" & is on the level of Inoue & Crawford??.. What a joke comment!! Inoue & Crawford are complete fighters, highly skilled & has cleaned out 2 divisions! Tank hasn't even picked up a single world title or beat any of the best in ANY division he has ever fought in. Yet, he is on these guys level, Shawn? How is that?? What has Tank done?? Knocked out another hypejob contender in Garcia, gotten a gift against a b level brawler in Cruz & has been seen multiple times getting outclassed in fights? Tank, like Wilder has that potent KO power that has bailed them out of losing situations. Tank is completely overrated & it's people within the industry that continue calling him the "face of boxing" or a "generational fighter" or even a top "p4p" fighter...he is none of these things. Just a "popular" fighter that the media is telling us he is better than what he actually is! Tank isn't even the best amongst his own peers. No where near better or more accomplished that Haney, who gets no mention. Tank has become a huge media creation & has become highly overrated based on rubbish statements, I would expect from a UA-camr and NOT a former professional blue collar boxer, within the industry.
I am not saying that he can't win against Haney, Lopez, Loma or Stevenson, Tank might land big on one of them, but we will never find out since he knows he' ll probably lose to all of them and just ducks everyone. Not impressive at all.
Tank Davis is not generational simply because he has'nt fought anybody he has not accomplished anything and he won't fight anyone great, and Wilder fought like a guy who has a foot into retirement
I like that they said that inuoe is disciplined cause I'm a huge soccer fan and I always said that the Japanese national team is very disciplined as well and they had a lot of success in the past years and I believe cause it's their discipline.
I started off watching late 2022. A year in , ill catch up on old episodes if yall take a break. The old dynamic with 4 of yall was good too from what ive seen.
Wilder was extremely hurt in that round and him looking out of the ring when he got cracked wasn't him looking towards his Mother, it was an unhealthy reaction to getting hit. He was out of it and didn't know what happened for a second there. And Malik Scott is awful. He's a fraud of a trainer and Wilder has only regressed more since he Scott took over.
I suspect the reason many don't want to see the fight right now at least me, is because there will be no real shine to it if AJ wins. There is a reason why Terrence Crawford waited for Errol to have a great performance after the accident and then the retina injury. Because no one can use any excuse to say it wasn't the same ESJ. Already everyone is using the 1 fight in 2 years as an excuse for Wilder. If the both go into it at their best or if they both go into it at 50% then at least we can say they either were both at their best or at 50% So the winner between them is the real deal. We can't do that now. The sad part is both of them knew in order to build up their fight and face each other they had to win their Day of Reckoning fight card. Unfortunately Wilder failed to do that so, it's on him.
Because they don't want to see wilder stretched out. They want to see AJ stretched out. And now they have lost belief in Wilder , so they don't want to see it. 😂
Prospect of the year: Andy Cruz. Andy Cruz put on an incredible display of boxing in his 2nd pro bout. PWP didn't want to give this energy, purely based on the fact they're big Keyshawn Davis fans 😂. If noone saw it, go back & watch Andy Cruz's last fight. Prospect of the year right there!
Andy’s performance was outstanding. I can’t see anyone beating him at 135 if he continues to perform like that. He had no holes in his game. Perfect punch variation, punch placement and defense. It was sitting down on punches, how he used the guard and inside work that I had questions about. He aced everything. No holes in his game!
Wilder was never good, he only got the belt bc his power and he kept it bc he was protected. Ppl considered fury the number one heavyweight bc he beat Wilder but what elite boxer has wilder beat? If you disagree then answer the question. I’m American and would like it to be true that Wilder an American heavyweight was great or even good but I’m a fan of boxing and I gotta keep it 💯. Porter keep it 💯 not 🧢. Tank hasn’t fought any elite boxer and is almost 30 years old. He said he was gonna fight loma a long time ago but didn’t and Haney fought him before tank even tried.
All the excuses for wilder...be real just say he sucks😂😂 2years of training he didn't do anything another pbc fighter down...and in no way in hell he's a Hof cut that out
Definite bias Shawn... What happened to being impartial.... In wilders performance, he ain't earned to fight AJ, regardless you saying you'd still see the fight, ultimately him losing has cooled the public in seeing that... He should've fought that dude who kabayel fought... Static guy who rarely, if any showed head movement
Credit where credit is due, Wilder walked through the fire 42 times. He was probably down on most of those cards. Fury drew the blueprint and Parker executed it perfectly. Enjoy the rest Wilder, you deserve it.
Even Antt being a "guest" who pops in from time to time or has a 5-10minute segment where he sounds off on his boxing opinion. Think the show could be so much more with credible hosts within the industry.
AJ sparks Wilder Based on both their last performances AJ a much better boxer And has power in both hands Wilder (is my boy) but wtf On the pads he has a lightning jab right hand and against Parker it was non existent If he comes to AJ with that nonsense he getting KOd
Wilder has never beat an elite fighter and yet still fooled these former boxers like he is such a beast KOing bums. Wilder's resume is absolutely trash but they still giving props to a right hand that never beat any good fighters

It's crazy to hear Espinoza say 2023 was the best year ever for Showtime boxing!! Everything was on PPV....it definitely wasn't a good year for fans pockets
Wilder couldn't keep Fury down, even if he lands on AJ it won't be enough. Ruiz got lucky and Joshua couldn't handle being buzzed then but i am sure he can now. Tbh Usyk, Zhang, Joyce beat him easy and Ruiz and Kabayel probably too. The two Big Babies, too.
Say about Miller what you want, he has one great chin. Who else could have eaten that punishment? Dubois has one of the hardest punches and he landed clean all the time. I want to see Big Pharmacy again.
Y’all are so biased in favor of Wilder always. Say it how it is, he is 🗑️ has ZERO boxing skills, his resume is highly suspect. He has one of the most powerful right hands ever & that is it. He showed great heart in 3rd fight w/ Fury & gained my respect, but then showed no heart in this fight.

Wilder was Wilder, we always knew he steps up the opposition he loses.
