I saw my name on the list, you're most welcome! A small price to pay for all the joy you bring to me. Your videos truly are unpredictable, a cool magic trick with a personal connection combined with bathroom remodeling updates, priceless!
Not surprised to see Chris Ramsey on the list. He and Wes Barker mentioned lost in the shuffle on their podcast about a week after you first mentioned it here.
You know... In the ridiculous amount of time I've had a youtube account, you are literally the first person for whom I've hit that bell. I hope this makes you feel as special as these moments you create feel to us :)
@@ShawnFarquhar it is, when I heard you say 80s and that it's still on display today, I thought, "wow, I want someone to display me proudly when I'm 60"
Thank you Shawn Your awesome love your stuff Love you channel Me and 10 year old daughter watch your stuff all the time Thank so much Joe /magician dad - Pennsylvania
Thank you for that beautiful story about getting advice from Eugene Burger. Wishing you the very best of success (from a fellow appreciator of Timmy's hot chocolate!)
I'm surprised to find Juan Tamariz here. It's not that I think he doesn't deserve it, because he absolutely does, but because, I don't know, one would think you would pick people somewhere else. The man is a living legend in Spain, I remember watching him on tv, mostly back in the 80's, and I was totally amazed and entertained every single time. When it came to magic, there was him and then everybody else. I haven't seen him live but a good friend of mine has, and he would sign what I've said about him. Just one little detail, he is from Madrid, not Barcelona, though you may mean he is working there at the moment or whatever.
Did I say Barcelona, oops I know better. I had been talking to a friend that day of filming who was cruising out of Barcelona...and probably just screwed up! Why is he in the documentary? Easy, I wanted the best from different regions of the world. Spain plays a major role in the creation of playing cards and there is no one better in Spain, and arguably the world than him... I have had the opportunity to work with him, dine with him, and learn from him and I am so excited that he said yes to the project!!!
@@ShawnFarquhar yes, I don't know about his fame outside Spain, but here, as I said, he is a living legend, the best of them all, not only because of what he does but also the way he does it, you just can't stop both laughing and being amazed. Though in different styles, it's what you do too. Thank you for answering, I'm honored.
I don't know how you did it, but you somehow got this cynical Toronto penny pincher to sponsor your doc at the $100 CAD level. The perks magically hit all my sweet spots, so kudos to The Kickstarter Guy . . . and to your unabashed Canadianess.
Whoa sweet I get to catch your vid on release for a change :p Notifications doing their job at last. Also, how cool would it be for a magic show venue to have a bathroom where instead of obviously flushing it, it makes your deed disappear in some way :')
Happy to read i's working! Funny idea for a bathroom... I could make magic instructions on a poster behind the toilet... 1) do deed 2) closed lid 3) pull handle and say magic words 4) raise lid... MAGIC!
You have the best attitude, Shawn, the world could do with a few more people like you.
Thanks Lindsaymac... I agree we need more people who see the positive side of things. ;-)
If you find someone that loves you as much as Shawn loves magic and his theater you are a lucky person
Fernando, that was an epic comment. Thanks

Hi Steve, I love your comment and appreciate your support. If you ever feel like you wanna help remodel... just say'n. ;-)

Chris and Wes have both become backers of the project. Super good guys that do so much for magic.. especially in Canada.

@@ShawnFarquhar Hello Shawn. Please give me a chance. Please let me work for you. Please
nice story and trick, I love how you still appreciate something from over 30 years ago
I didn't think of it that way, that's kind of a cool outlook.

Proud to be on the list.
Thanks Brace...
I met Eugene Burger at a convention in the 90's and still remember him performing his Haunted Deck routine for me.
Thank you Shawn
Your awesome love your stuff
Love you channel

So cool you get to share the magic with your daughter. I did the same with Hannah as she was growing up.
Love the video and loved the tricks. The bill trick reminded me of Eugene Burgers $20 effect. Shawn, miss you and hope to see you down the road. 🙈
Strange how it would remind you of Eugene's trick... ;-)

Really great trick ^^
Thanks Devlan..
I was contributor 151... :P
btw, that magic trick was so cool. That was real magic for me as I have no clue how you did it except... magic!
Hey Raimundo, I hope the backpack is serving you well, and thank you for backing the Kickstarter!
I want to go to a show just to see the new bathroom.
Sweet, my master plan is working!

Shawn! Please come to Philadelphia/ Pennsylvania area
Do a show out here
If you build it I will come
If you book it they will come!
You folks have the Smoke & Mirrors theatre. My friends own and run it... one day I'll have to come play that cool place.
You are my man Shawn..
Thanks...
Hey Shawn!
Coming to your show in Dec 30th. Would it be okay if I took some photos with a 360 camera?
Hi Rick, that sounds like fun... sure. See you soon.
You are most welcome. 😊

I think that convention was my second one. Long time ago.
You are most likely correct my friend...

The answer is simple... magic! ;-)
I am sure you can palm a bowling ball. :-))
That would be a fun challenge...

40 seconds into the video. WHAT THE F@#$%
Right? What happened to the hot chocolate!
@@ShawnFarquhar YOU KNOW! I had theories but I'll just throw my hands up, give up, and promise to buy you a round if we ever meet in a bar.
Dear Shawn. PLEASE HELP ME and give me a chance...
