Thank you so much for all the useful information! We actually didn’t like that Pad Thai and ate it many times from the local restaurants/ street stands which was very good! Although, our favourite noodle dish because Pad See Ew GAI 😍 So good!!!

You can find seats on the second floor near that area in the food center. The way to eat mango sticky rice is to eat the sticky rice with mango in the same bite. Actually, there's a Pad Thai restaurant upstairs. The name of Thipsamai shop will have better taste. Another place where you can taste street food at a cheap price and a wide variety is Terminal 21.

120 baht pad thai is pretty pricey unless it is seafood or prawn, plus no seating. You re better of eating at a cook to order stall on the street and only pay 40-50 baht.
Yes, that's exactly how we felt - we don't mind paying more for something of a good ingredients and quality but it just didn't taste good 😖
Still overpriced even with shrimp bruh, I ate at the local place for only 50-60 baht with big ass shrimp
@narongponsaetan8605 your local place aint located in a billion baht investment shopping mall, it can taste good like heaven but it wont be able to charge as much the mall food.

Typical for this kind of place. They have to pay rent for the location that is why food tend to be more expensive inside a mall than the food stall...
I need to go back to IconSiam. I didn't get to explore the whole mall. maybe next thai food to try is Thai Papaya Salad. IconSiam had the best.

Food court in Icon Siam is for tourists to experience overall thai street foods. The foods are okay but you can't expect anything outstanding.

The famous Pad Thai "Tip Samai" it's about the same prices, I'm sure it'll taste so much different than the one you've try @ Icon Siam. Also the curry you tried in Yaowaraj, I'd say it's the best chinese curry in town (originally been in that area over 80 years). I enjoy your adventure in Thailand. Kudos to both of you.
BTW.... Thailand was once called " Venice Of The East " (1960 during Vietnam war). Full of canals around Bangkok then.

Love your videos and hope you have enjoyed Bangkok so far. All the luxury shops here are closed at 7.30 or 8 P.M. so that's why you didn't see many customers inside. People are actually queuing up during the day.

17:30 i think its partly due to 2 things.
1. They naturally have a much lower customer frequency than affordable brands, so the same 60 seconds you pass by, there's a very low chance someone is in there if they get say 1 customer an hour.
2. It's actually been shown that the vast vast majority of customers for those brands, are NOT the very wealthy, but the middle-income segment. That's because it's the lower spectrum of the wealthy that wants and needs the luxury "status brand" to show their ability to pay for it, since the "actual" wealthy (not new-wealthy tho) dont need or want a beacon showing how rich they are, that's why you see so many CEO's and stuff in simple t-shirts and shorts.
It's kind of like, if you WANT to be rich, you need to show it off.
If you ARE rich, you have no need to prove it to anyone.
I like the way you think! We were actually quite surprised seeing a lot of people inside doing shopping! There were different categories of shops but still even then people were buying things.

In fact, the top floor has a waterfall flowing down like at Changi Airport. But it was built before. It had lights, performances, and spelling in the waterfall.
During the New Year here, fireworks will be lit along the beautiful river, Takantara, for hours. It's become one of the places you should visit during the New Year. By taking a boat to eat And Bangkok is one of the world's great New Year's peat display locations.

The ICONSIAM Apple Store is the 4th most beautiful Apple Store in the world and the 1st in Asia, with the top 3 being in America.
The second largest Starbucks store in the world after the United States is in this mall.
It was super visible that they put a lot of attention on both these stores to make them amazing from the outside and inside ✨

Hello, I watched your clip. Where you go to eat at ICONSIAM Crispy pork with basil fried rice is ok, but the pad thai is not okay. The price of pad thai is too expensive. Because the type of pad thai you order to eat is street food but sold in the mall. The street price is only about ฿30. I will recommend you if you want to eat Pad Thai. Go find a shop that sells freshly fried Pad Thai. It's better to stir fry one order at a time and get fresh Pad Thai for no more than ฿60-฿80 baht. It's better not to buy food that's already been stir-fried like this is not good. I want you to have fun traveling in Thailand.
