There’s no infinity in Japan. The Skyline has always existed in Japan and rebadged to Q50 abroad.

I think the most important implication for this is that they're testing the viability of the VR30DDTT for the next gen Z. The successor to the 370z will probably have this engine and make 400hp.

We have this in the states as a Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400. It's a 3.0L Twin Turbo V6 making 400hp at the crank. I've test driven one and they have PLENTY of power for a daily commuter luxury sport sedan.

To clear things up. What the U.S. know as the Infiniti G and Q, is known in Japan as Nissan Skyline. Same car, both from Nissan motor Co.
Honda does the same thing. What we know as Acura in the U.S. , is just Honda in Japan.

This is good car. Because the contents are Q50. But I feel sorry for Q50 and the skyline.
Nissan and Japanese fans fit the sandwiched the board, and the goodness of both was halved too much.

Well don't know who is copying who. But mazda in not putting a 400hp beast of an engine in anything they are offering... As far as copy cats, Mazda has always seemed to have a resemblance to Infiniti in certain models. Look at the 1995 Mazda 626 and the 1995 Infiniti G20. I think this looks great as does the q50. Mazda are nice as well. I will go with 400hp vs the 250 in the mazda turbo any day!
