i’m screaming at my screen for old haven to be used to place european buildings and things like the sea fortress
Oh yes! That's such a brilliant idea! Please, make it happen Egg.
The big spire actually works nicely with old european stuff, I think. In a kinda Barcelona/Sagrada Familia vibe.
The Sea Fortress would look pretty nice in Old Haven or at the entrance to the bay with the naval base. It could be what guarded the port in olden times
Brandenburg, Eiffel Tower, Gherkin, Arc de ‘Triumph’, etc.. could all fit in a round the world style theme park.
The hexagon library thing would look good in the military facility, a la Pentagon.
Art Deco stuff should all go in Old Haven

The sheer number of hotels that are left over will not fit in that square. 😂 Maybe dot some additional hotels around Orchid Bay. Love the series! Can’t believe that this is episode 90!

I think the pre-built zoo could be considered the veterinary and quarantine station of the zoo, so it makes sense to be outside the zoo area but close by. Overall some very nice choices and some more controversial ones too I guess - not sure I like the gold tower there. Looking forward to some more redevelopment.
Sea fortress should be over in Old orchid Bay 100% (don't forget that side of town!)

33:08 cathedral makes me think of the Temple in Independence, MO. Tall spire which dominates the “skyline” (as it is) of Independence. Can see it if you’re in one of the downtown towers in KCMO and there is nothing else close to that height in the vicinity.
A lot more unique buildings than I remember!! I like everything that you did 🤩 I look forward to more redevelopment too to place the other unique buildings in.

The pedestrian zone unlocks require a pedestrian zone of the correct specialization, I believe: You need the job count *in a workplace pedestrian zone*, for example.

Love this series! Wouldn't have minded if you did thid build in two parts and slowed down to admire and detail. It was cool to see the stock exchange work. The snake thing looked awesome at the zoo. You are so great at this game. I hope you still love this city. I also hope you are considering another CS1 vanilla build. The way you put together assets and your style of playing is really showcased in CS1 vanilla, so creative and fun!
Wow episode 90 is just amazing. I seem to run out of nodes long before I'm ever finished working on a city. Maybe I'm not doing something right, or maybe I'm not as good as some other players. Either way, it is I'm having fun and that's what it's all about anyway.👍
Great episode! I think something interesting you could do once Orchid Bay is 'finished' is to go back in with mods and see just how cool you can make it with the vanilla city starting as your base in a way? Not even to like redo the city, but to just kind of enhance it visually or something
At this point I don’t watch him to learn to make a city, I watch him to get jealous then learn to make a city

The best location (i think) for the Sea Fortress would be the Eggerglades National Park that would be a suitable place...

If that Sphinx is going in the new hotels/tourist redevelopment it might be worth taking some inspiration from Vegas 😁

The Gold Tower would probably fit better in the Hotels area to bring the height back down to the edge of Brickland and Quays.
And to state what others have also said Sea Fort would be great with the old Haven area near the other bay, and it’d be nice for Old Haven to have it’s own sports team so I do also like the idea of a smaller stadium over there.

Honestly a lot of the surface parking can go in favor of some of these uniques. All the car parking looks and feels “realistic” but cs1 doesn’t need it
I'd also be interested to know the cities attractiveness rating now

PLEASE don’t redevelop the Brooklyn area , it’s a really good addition to the city , cause housing in that part of the city just makes sense
