I’m slowly transitioning into my own style after moving out of my own, I want to make my apartment more bohemian and that applies to my style of clothing as well! I was used to wear so much clothes my friends gave me because we didn’t have a lot of money. But now I have a nice job finally for the first time, I live alone, I have time and I’m willing to make my place my own and to feel myself in my clothes, which I don’t nowadays, my clothes feel foreign. They are not representing me well. Something needs to change :) thanks for the video. Very helpful!

For boho just go to thrift shop its best for bohemian style, just like she said its vibe, and boho is old with story, with past, used. Boho style originated from poor ppl, artists and musicians and free spirit ppl. Its beautiful style cuz it lets u to do ur own thing, there are no rules in boho it lets u play. Enjoy it.

I also don’t follow a particular style, I like to make it my own out of many different styles, sometimes my outfit is a bit boho sometimes a bit edgy, sometimes sporty if I’m out and about with my dog. It really depends. I just don’t feel comfortable in all colours. For example whenever I wear dark navy blue I feel so weird and because I’m so pale it washes me out. I hate wearing that colour. And yellow doesn’t look too good on me either. I like natural neutral colours like grey and brown and white and black and then sometimes I add some colour like wine purple or a colourful scarf or something like that. :) I will never buy navy blue pieces again that’s for damn sure, haha!

No mention of iconic Australian modern bohemian labels "Spell & the Gypsy Collective", "Arnhem", "Auguste the label "!

Hi Lauren! I love this video (and all your style videos!) I also use Pinterest for pinning styles and outfits that I like on my iPad, but sometimes it can be confusing when you have an eclectic style. Sometimes I consider myself an edgy girl, but I also love the bohemian vibe, and I have many boho pieces. But then there are days I'm drawn to the clean lined modern look. It would be great if you could do a video on the Mixed Style Babe...and how to manage different styles the right way. Thanks for all the helpful information, useful tips and for always telling it like it is!

I feel like cork is kind of a risky statement, at least in Seattle. Maybe it's not, other places? Most boho babes I see are eco people hanging around other eco people, which means talk tends to shift toward diminishing cork forests and the animals that depend on them (f.e., Iberian lynxes are the most endangered wildcat in the world, and they can only survive in cork forests). I have actually heard people scolded for using cork in their home, before (o.o rude!). At any rate, I put it on my 'rosewood' list (things I adore but probably won't use much of, because eco reasons).

I think this may be my vibe more than casual chic (although I have to get me some flares to confirm.) Great video!

I've been a boho vintage gal as long as I've had clothing lol. But growing up poor and going into adulthood poor i had a problem with not having the basics to pull it together. Pretty statement pieces are easy to find and thrift cheaply, it's much harder to get the basics on a budget in my experience, or to even know exactly what you should be looking for. You might be able to get a 4 dollar tshirt at kmart but it will be full of holes and out of shape etc after a few washes. Jeans are hard, too, if you are poor and especially if you aren't a teeeny size and straight-up-and-down. Basic black pants too, or a really good belt, not just a really unusual one lol. I've got my own 'basics for a boho' list these days but i would be really curious to see your take on it if you ever felt like doing a video on that theme! For some people they want to have more flair but are not sure how to incorporate that into their basics, but for those who collect flair like a bower bird collects shiny things, finding the right basics to pull it together and feel like you can be properly dressed for different occasions can be a challenge too! Even for those not on a tight, thrifting-only kind of budget!

Seems like you’re working with a filming crew but you never do proper close ups on any of the items.

Hi Lauren, I currently have a more classic, casual style, but I kinda want to spruce it up with a more boho vibe but still keeping that comfortable, classic style. I really love the outfit your wearing in this video and outfits like that are kinda the vibe im going for, the only problem is im so overwhelmed and don't really know where to start. Any suggestions?

    Is it weird that I'm a Tomboy-Edgy-Classic in W/F and Boho-Casual-Classic in the S/F?
