The Uzumaki Chronicles slander is absolutely atrocious... I grew up on that shit and some could say it was a precursor to the Ninja Storm series gameplay.
Yeah I played the first Uzamaki Chronicles and liked the Naruto and Sasuke fight. I never got the chance to play The second.

The problem with the 2 is that it feels like a smaller game compared to first one, it doesn't help that the subquests are also more contained and unrelated to the story mode. The game improved the gameplay, yes, but there isn't too much to do with it.

I’m with you on this one I’ve only played the first hour or so of Uzumaki chronicles two but it just did not seem like it had the same magic to it but I have nothing but love for the original i’m also probably one of the only people who really enjoyed that skill chip and skill plate system

Uzumaki Chronicles 2 was my childhood. Kizuna Drive was a headache and just a terrible game overall.

I loved both of the games when I was younger, but I do remember that some of the combat was a bit stiff, but still rather fun

Is it weird that I enjoyed Dragon Blade Chronicles as a kid? I didn't have access to the other games, so this was one of the few Naruto games I got to play and I enjoyed it.

That game was apart of my childhood, I loved the game, and it felt right to play it at the time that I did. I feel like the game would have been perfect for a Movie of Naruto, like a 2 part movie, or a filler series.
I remember getting the first Uzumaki Chronicles game for my birthday when I was younger. I also remember beating that game in a week of me getting it. I always wondered why it felt so short, but now I know.
Ok hold up naruto ultimate ninja heroes 3 is an awesome game. The story line, the ultimates, the characters, everything about that game was awesome. The funny thing is that the controls aren't clumsy and the grinding doesn't take long at all. This is by far a 10/10 for me.
Exactly, the person doing the ratings for this game clearly haven't played the game or just isn't good at it. I will admit, doing the story mode can feel repetitive at times but besides that, the roster, combat system, the addition of unique team jutsus, not allowing ults to be too game changing by addin the input system, and overall gameplay is easily better than the other ninja heroes and makes this game(for a psp game) no less than a 8/10 imo
yeah i never understood the immense hate accel 3 gets. i totally get that the game mechanics in a lot of ways is watered down and streamlined from the earlier 2d ultimate ninja games to accomodate the focus on 4 player, but the things it does right it does really well. the graphics are gorgeous given its on psp and the ultimates while shorter are really cool looking especially compared to storm 2's lame ultimates which came out a year later lol. also alot of characters had dope awakenings with cool movesets. also its basically the only game in the series that has 4 player (no i dont count storm revolutions weird cpu only arena mode lol) which was really fun. i think accel 3 is mad underrated
Agreed. I love it's simple but unique gameplay. I wish they continue the Ultimate Ninja series so we can get Ultimate Ninja Heroes 4 or Ultimate Ninja 6.

I loved playing Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles & 2, my first time playing was challenging although I wish they'd added in more fighting characters
I don't get the hate for Kizuna drive, I love that game and played it for months I think on and off. Hell I even played it on my pc recently cause I lost my PSP and I still had loads of fun. is it the best naruto game? Nope but I would still say it was a unique experience and was a top tier game for its gameplay and especially cutscenes/story. Nowadays or like in general any game displays it's story in chat format by showing a photo and dialog, Kizuna Drive had full on anime type cutscenes. Wish somebody made a game inspired from Kizuna drive, would love to see it in todays gaming world.
I'm kinda glad I stuck to only playing the Clash of Ninja series because I was seriously considering buying some of these Naruto games back then, lol.

Baffles me how many people think storm was the first and only form of Naruto fighting games. At least the newest one, Connections, is looking up to be promising. I'd love to get a clash of ninja/Gekitou Ninja Taisen game with all characters from Naruto + Shippuden & Boruto
@@Squydward thatll be so dope! the combo system and movement was so fluent. I still remember the gamecube days when you could do the free for all fights with 4 people looking back in retrospect it was done so well! Translating that to modern day online gaming would be the best. Honestly they missing out on a cash grab

I disagree with the who’s a Maki Chronicles games being on this list simply because you say they’re bad compared to today’s games that’s not a fair comparison to make personally I enjoy Uzumaki chronicles and it seems like a lot of people in the comment section agree with me
I knew Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles as Uzumaki Ninden. I saw the trailer for it in 2006 when the series didn't even get localized yet. I watched the series in Japanese and even to this day I can't watch the series in English.
Ninja Council 2 and Uzumaki Chronicles 2 were fun games. Loved playing them when i grew up
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 is one of the best, underrated Naruto games.
Yeah, that’s what I think, too… Over 50 characters, 4 Players mode, good story mode. That was maybe the BEST fighting game on PSP…
Even the DS Games were actually pretty good (for a DS fighting game).
I wanted Uzumaki Chronicles so badly as a teenager but never got a shot at it. Still want to at least try. Kizuna Drive and Akatsuki Rising both turned me off with just a trial run from gamefly. Ninja Destiny was a novelty but didn't have much else going for it. I liked the council games as a kid/teen but I totally get how hollow and repetitive they are and the criticism against them. I will defend Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 as the last bastion of the classic Ultimate Ninja formula, but I get its criticisms

None of these games except Akatsuki Rising, the 3ds game, Ninja Destiny 1 and Dragon Blade Chronicles aren't even that bad

Ninja Council 4 was amazing and the best of the Naruto DS games. I have nostalgic memories of spending Thanksgiving of 2009 struggling to beat the final few levels.

Number 2 is the PlayStation version of Mario Party with Story. Also, number 1 is a Monster Hunter Knock-Off is what it comes across to me

Takara Tomy published Naruto games for Nintendo consoles until 2011.
Now Uzumaki Chronicles series was great. A remaster would be great to do it justice fr.

Ive loved Akatsuki Rising as kid i was so mad when i lost the game before and my dad hed by me another Naruto Game and turned out its was Kizuna Drive and one of the worst games ever its so hard as hell and sometimes the levels are even impossible to finish i was crying so much as a child playing that game

I know that people are going to be mad at my list because of 2 reasons. 1st I'm only listing the games that I played and 2nd the games on my list are all my favorites. Naruto ninja council 1,2,3,Naruto shippuden ninja council 4,Naruto ultimate ninja storm and Naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm 2,3 and 4. Grand total I've played 8 Naruto games and I still love all 8.

Uzumaki Chronicles 1 was my very first PS2 game. I bought it and my PS2 with paper route money. But yeah it was pretty bad lol. Loved the second one though!
Gotta disagree with UNH3 just abit, I understand what you mean about the controls but heroes 3 still had some really cool features i wish had been utilized by other games
Yeah, good awakenings, a lot of characters, double team and the anime story mode was well summarized. I just hated back then the filler side scrolling story mode that was trash with just a cool final moment of naruto and sasuke teaming up
The Uzumaki Chronicles had a really good cg and really amaze me. However when the first time I played it, it was in JPN ver and I don't understand how to accomplish certain mission. In the end, I just drop it halfway. Neji's 64 palm was very amazing beautiful graphic at that time. in the sequel they just back to 2D style model until now, except for Jump Force.
They should make a good naruto game that should be an action adventure based rpg and open world to explore cities and lands and do some side missions/quests and main missions in the story.
Dude Uzumaki chronicles 1 I found way more enjoyable then the 2nd, I genuinely had a great time and played it not that long ago.

Luckily I stayed away from a majority of Naruto games outside of the Storm series. Out of the games I played I would say Rise of a Ninja was the worst. An open world with nothing to do, enemies appear at the same place every time so exploring isn't even fun, the Jutsu system was a neat idea in single player but obnoxious in vs, and it has the sin of having achievements linked to the online leaderboard. The only funny thing is that they made the anime trope of "Emotional Flashback" into the contune mechanic.

kizuna drive is very hard game but thankfully that i got my third naruto game its naruto ultimate ninja impact very easy to play and good in handhield
I didn’t know 10 Naruto games existed.
I knew Dragon was going to be up there but wow #1. Really only thing I liked was the outfits in the game.
Luckily I was spared all of these. I've only played the Ninja Storm series and Shinobi Striker I enjoyed them both

Although, it was a graphical downgrade from the first game. Like the lost budget on their cutscenes.

My favorite Naruto games are the ultimate ninja series for the ps2❤ you could change characters moves. For example you can give Naruto fireball jutsu, and many more
For the time uzumaki chronicles came out it was very good in my opinion I played 1&2 and thought they were solid I actually was hoping they’d make a shippuden version. The only irritating parts of the game were the targeting sometimes and the viewing angles they were a bit bothersome in battles with multiple enemies but it definitely held up to the point in time naruto was with its development in my opinion
Globku got a much better and full complete of all Naruto games from all generations and consoles telling you which ones are good and which ones you should avoid
And #1 not the worst one and is not even close mates. Just watch Globku Naruto Ranking is better

I will fight you on ninja council 4 and ultimate ninja heroes 3. Ultimate ninja heroes 3 was the only game to give us a lot (key word a lot) of the shippuden characters in the original ultimate ninja series. Too bad it came out when the psp was going out the door and co-op was pretty nonexistent.
yeah putting a 4 player focused game on the psp was always a odd choice but i remember when accel 3 came out well before it was localized, me and some friends downloaded the japanese iso and were playing 3 player adhoc in the school library, lol
All these games were great for the time it came out especially if you were the right age to collect them all

Glad I didn’t waste any time or money on Dragon blade chronicles when I saw it on shelves.
I played Uzumaki Chronicles 2 and it wasn't that bad. And Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade was okay not as good as it could have been but not god-awful and I liked the original story and it did try to explain why Naruto had to use the shortsword-styleweapon. But Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive yeah that game sucked.
Ninja Council 2 not so bad, yeah, it is short, but I personally enjoyed playing it.

The good news about #5, the Japanese Version was already ahead of the curve, if we get the English Dub Actors to revise the full story dialogue in future Playstation consoles, it would be just as grand and entertaining. 😅

Okay... Kizuna Drive was pretty bad.... but I still had a good time 🤣. Uzumaki Chronicles 2 I spent the most time in and unlocked Sasuke with the infinite chakra skill chip. I have like 8 playthroughs in Uzumaki Chronicles 1 and didn't realize we got the shitty end of the stick until a few years ago. Heroes 3 was okay but I would've preferred the "Ultimate Ninja" combat system to that one. I never got to play Dragon Blade Chronicles but I always say it advertised back in the Shonen Jump magazines and wanted to try it. Glad I didn't
