This seems very suspicious. I’d love to hear from a bridge engineer. As an architect we were always taught that concrete is not susceptible to fire damage. I’ve never seen a truck fire cause a concrete overpass to break in half. It didn’t just collapse… all 4 or 5 bridge beams broke in a place where the would physically be lease likely to break.
This is a great comment, unfortunately, they want us deaf,blind and dumb to all that happens around us.

My thought too. But they said the bridge collapsed after the tank exploded. So maybe it wasn't the heat from the fire who caused it. The bridge construction doesn't even look strong either
It's not maintenance, fuel from an oil tanker would've done this to any structure it happened on. This is going to be a headache for so many people.

Fire from a tanker right underneath a bridge will collapse any bridge. It has happened often. Fire weakens both concrete and steel.

That’s looks like a gas explosion under the bridges. You can see the blackened blowout/crater from it and flames and smoke coming out of holes… this is going to need a much better explanation than a “tanker”. That’s a whole lotta steel and concrete to come down because of a tanker. Js.

Because it was planned I used to haul tankers/hazmat that driver was not supposed to be on 95 especially going thru Philly for hazardous cargo we go around the city especially major cities

Any hazmat driver knows Never to park a hazardous load under anything or park in a truck stop. There are rules to abide by on where and where not to park those trucks.

On a non busy sunday afternoon someone conveniently parked a burning tanker truck under an over pass? Why not stop the truck before the over pass?? And driver not found? Or presumebly burnt up…. Unless he lost control and crashed the whole thing seems fishy…

One newscast stated whatever vehicle caused this was abandoned by its driver.I guess that means no lives are in danger. I'd sure like to see what's under that collapsed expanse of highway.

From design,to installing,to maintenance...somewhere someone didnt do something right.
It's not about maintenance or anything else. A tanker truck filled with fuel would've done this to ANY structure it happened on.
Using that logic, the architects or the construction workers or the maintenance workers at the World Trade Center also did something wrong.

It's funny that everyone wants to always blame the truck drivers and yet no one truly knows what happened!!! Always so quick to blame the driver and who knows he could have had a heart attack or maybe a tire blowout and lost control of truck. I don't believe this driver would intentionally cause this whole mess. This just doesn't smell good. Where's the driver? How did the fire start? Where are the "jet fuel doesn't melt steel beams" people? The 'months to recover' is going to cause significant delay and issue with distribution on the east coast. What ever happened to the missing explosive grade materials? You know, the missing 'fertilizer', the whole 30 fkn tons of fuel/accelerant in convenient water soluble salt form. How tf has it been determined to be one-thousand gallons of 87 octane gasoline? Is it because "That's what the paperwork says"? You do know people lie, like a lot and sometimes for no reason at all? I mean you'd have to be silly to believe they have conclusively determined the material when they're still having difficulty approaching the site let alone recovering testable samples of residue that would deliver those conclusive results. The whole thing smells bad, there is paradoxically too much and too little information available at the same time. The only time people give answers to questions you've yet to ask is when they're trying to control your perception of an event and prevent you from adequately responding to a real threat to your personal safety.
