Here is why you can't use remote play on Xbox App on PC

For those who have black screen while remote play on PC: Check your display options on console and pc/laptop resolution, i had the same problem. On PC screen was resolution 1920 x 1080, when on console was 720p (plugged to old plasma tv), so change to 1080p on your console it will fix black screen or decrease your resolution on PC for 720p.
This is the only UA-cam solution that has ever worked for me... appreciate it man thanks 🙏❤

I have the icon but its just constantly saying cant connect
I don’t even get the rocket when I click that mini Xbox icon. It says make sure Xbox is turned on, enable something, then immediately “something went wrong, check back later”

if you have a blackscreen when trying to play remote, go to your laptop or pc settings, make sure you change language to english us, and make sure that language is on top to, this trick really work for me, just wait a minute until the rocket showing or your screen

im using phone hotspot and the confusing part is i can remote play of my main phone with a 1.5mps speed, but my work phone has a 50mps speed and i cant connect with it?????? im so confused

well if i press the xbox remote play button it connects but its a black screen only and i cant quit unless i close the app and the black screen shows up when i press my console then it goes to a black screen and i cant do anything even no sound

Are you on cable network or on wireless? Because wireless needs te be 5G to work smoother
I have "Miracast: Available, no HDCP" & I don't have the remote play option anymore. I used to be able to though on this computer. After much testing, I found the issue was because I had a strict NAT error on my Xbox One. Which was finally fixed when I reset the states on my pfSense router.

Somebody please tell me how to get it working. I try to play on my phone but it just will not connect
i have this really annoying issue where the remote play connection seems to keep disconnecting from my windows 10 pc. I get a trying to reconnect error pop up for a couple of seconds then it reconnects for a couple seconds and then back to the error. Its a never ending loop. I had no issue using the xbox companion app streaming feature in the past, but now that looks like its been disabled or is broken. Any help would be much appreciated.

@@LeaksIswashed I haven't yet unfortunately. It's really weird, I got a update for my xbox app in the Microsoft store randomly the other day. Then I tried the xbox app straight after the update. It worked fine with no disconnections to my surprise that one time. Then back to the same loop the next time I reopened the xbox app. It seems to be really random, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I'll keep you updated if I find a permanent fix.
@@damirzlatkic8134 yeah fs i'll try to find something as well. Its so annoying because it worked fine before then all of a sudden it stopped working. My internet is fine and my PC and Xbox are connected to ethernet. Not sure whats going on.

My issue is that cloud gaming works but remote play doesn't on a slow internet connection. As I see it seems that cloud gaming is better optimized than remote play. I have a surface pro 9 and it was suposed to be a great companion to work with xbox remote play. My speed is 67Mb down (which should be more than enough and 16 Mb up) On remote play I see the icon but it says we found your console but get the following error mesage "Check your internet connection- We found your console but can't connect, try from a different wifi or mobile network"-
The remote play button won't show up until you connect your xbox again .

Your video is misleading. Most of us have "Miracast: Available, with HDCP" and the games still do not launch in remote mode.
What’s your NAT type. If the rocket shows then it’s a network issue.
