Such a wonderful resource is Arizona's Black River. When practicing catch-and-release, always handle fish with wet hands, so as not to damage the protective layer of slime that protects them against pathogens.

It's the black river on the San Carlos Apache reservation. A permit is required to fish there.
Where about were you guys at on the river? I’ve been to whites crossing once but fish were tough when I went
The two fish caught in the beginning were at 5 of diamonds and the rest were caught at whites crossing.

@@jamesmisener8704 we use a #4 panther Martin black and gold, just find the slack water between the rocks and you'll find the fish.
