The foremost thing I take from all your videos is the great relationship, friendship, and respect you both have for each other as a father and son. Always well spoken, always informative, and always some fun to be had. In a time where tons of UA-cam videos are done for selfish reasons, stolen content, or just clickbaited up... You guys always make fresh simple easy to watch content. Oh and respect and props to Dad for his military service.

I head straight to your top channel for my lake mead update. You’re documenting history so well, and I do enjoy the ease and rapport between you. I understand peoples’ fear when you see what Is happening all over the world. You’ve got to stay calm and carry on, be sensible and as senior wisely says appreciate what you have while you have it.

Why would you leave beautiful Michigan surrounded by great lakes and freshwater everywhere to go to a lousy ass desert that’s always so hot and dry and as you see now water dries up quickly out there. Michigan never really ever has any crazy natural disasters. We’re not near any fault lines there’s no volcanic activity around us we don’t have hurricanes just a few tornadoes every now and then. We get snow but depending on what part of Michigan you live in it’s not that drastic. There’s a reason why back in the day there was commercials that said “Day Yes to Michigan”. On another note we don’t want all those crazy people from the West Coast coming into our state either. I was born and raised in Michigan and I plan on staying here my entire life.

Q: "Do you know what the holes in the top are for?"
A: "They are designed specifically for all of your pride and dignity to leak out!"
Besides, people who make fun of Crocs are just secretly jealous and are mad at their own lack of confidence to wear them themselves!

Surprisingly with all the new development, Vegas actually uses less water than it used to. The Southern Nevada Water Authority has been doing a good job conserving water and recycling bringing it back to the lake. Nevada is only allocated 2% of the water out of lake Mead and yet we still use less than that. The real culprits are the wasteful agricultural practices in southern California and Arizona. They use something like 70 to 80% of the water. I understand agriculture is important but something will have to change eventually

Lake Mead is definitely a big concern, its already down to 27% capacity and could reach dead pool levels much quicker than the projections, since the lake is not dropping in a linear fashion but rather exponentially due to its curved bottom, just like a martini glass!

    • @yummyherbicide7296

Dudes this is some quality content. Greetings from the other side of the globe in Bulgaria. I've seen one too many reservoirs dry out and it's quite heartbreaking seing Lake Mead drop. One idea I had watching your videos of the water levers with the speed the water is going down you can perhaps put a gopro in a hidy-hole over a week or two and do a timelapse in which you will see the water going down.

Lots of stuck vehicles down there daily now.. usually it was just around the launches and marinas but with so much shore exposed now people underestimate that deep Lake Mead pudding mud trying to get to the waterline. It's decades of sediment settled in deep layers there, I call it "quick mud." I always carry a yankum rope and traction mats in case I come across folks that went too far now.
Another great video guys, keep up the good coverage 👍 We are with you... ain't going anywhere and if shtf were ready to embrace it. We could use a shakeout here it's grown too fast and a doom and gloom drought might help get rid of the foreign investors and rigged housing market here. Take care fellas-

I will say the absolute best part of the video for me was (this shows in all your videos) just seeing how great your relationship is.
