If you are living abroad and can be able to save up to $200,000 dollars more or less, you can establish business in any African country of your choice and do well but not in Nigeria because you will die or they will dupe, kidnap and decimate you once you come back with money. Any amount you acquired do not hesitate to ask questions before making any move to Africa unless if it happened by accident.
Great work, I would like to see someone start an Ethical African company which invests in all African countries for the purpose of improving lives and in which you can buy shares.

Nobody does well as an anti-social , inward-looking introvert. Unfortunately that's what Eritrea is at the moment. They've refused to be part of the Africa Free Trade Agreement and it has a small population. I suppose on the one hand those 5 million people need goods and services. But for me, Eritrea is not a market I would enter.

Hi Malik, both are leading and growing tourism destinations in Africa. Kenya is probably easier to sell, as it it a well known destination and has an amazing and wide range of experiences and offerings that not many countries can match. Competition is higher. Rwanda is positioning itself both for high-end tourism and conference tourism. If you want to develop land for tourism it will be easier in Rwanda, since you can easily purchase land as a non-national. Just some quick feedback. Hope it helps.
Hello Dr,am originally from sierra Leone but living in Brazil am interested in growing apples and rearing animals like goat and sheep is there demand for these products to in the west?
Greetings Dr. Harnet! I am from Guinea-Bissau studying in UK and looking to start a bussiness in my home land in the near future. Thank you very much for all the information. Looking forward for your conference in London!
Dear Alberto, great to hear that you plan to start an African business! If you start with your home country (so less flexibility with finding maximum market benefits across Africa), I suggest to tap into an industry In Guniea-Bissau that is already doing well. Just to quickly clarify: risk are not based on opportunity. You can have countries low in opportunity and still low in risk....or high in opportunity and still high in risk. There are four categories. What I said in the video is that the worst countries are those that are high in risk, let low in opportunity. Avoid them. GREAT - See you in London at our boot camp! drharnet.mykajabi.com/p/africa-business-bootcamps-2018
Dr.harnet, If I’m not mistaken that’s an Ethiopian/Eritrean name? Though I don’t see you speaking or encouraging people to invest in those country. Of course just because you’re from their don’t necessarily mean you are obliged to do so but it’s your country and I’m sure there some things worth mentioning. I understand about Eritrea but Ethiopia in particular is growing fast. And I’m sure most people in the West would be happy to hear about. Even though you haven’t said much about 90 percent of the African a country’s, I’m only saying this because you’re from that country or your origin, so I know you would want to the best for it just like the best for Africa.
which countries have the least punitive tax regimes? We're getting killed in Kenya by the kleptocrats and institutionalized theft. Doesn't make sense to make money in a country and give a ton of it back to government
