- We try an amazing game called "The Political Process" which lets you run in any county of the US, in any election you can imagine from a School Board seat all the way up to President of the United States. They release an update for custom year, this is a great game!
Great game.But I have an issue with it. I was in the city council and I decided to run for president to gain national recognition to run for governor. I won the Republican nomination and then I won the election with 370-168 margin

Wish this included a couple of the third parties, but still a great game.
Hmmm, great idea. But I'm not a dev so I wish he adds:
Libertarian (L)
Green (G)
Constitution (C)
Independent (IND)
Reform (REF)
Conservative (CON)
and customizable parties!
Both parties need the goal to establish a third-party, fourth-party, or a multiparty system.

Got the laptop and the game and it ROCKS!!
They need to work on more realism. Things like:
More parties or run as an Independent
Term lengths (some state Senates have 2 year terms, but every state Senate in the game has 4 year terms. Vermont & New Hampshire Governors serve two year terms, but in the game, they serve 4).
Legislative Body realism: Nebraska’s legislature only has 1 House, but in the game, it has 2
Vote(s) realism: If you live in a city with a population of 10,000 people, you shouldn’t get 20,000+ votes in a Mayoral race (as I have).
There’s other issues they need to work on.
Oh well. That's actually some things that should be changed.
You can run as an independent, and the game is still early access. Verm is a one-man team and somehow still has the motivation to work on this game every day. The dude is a legend

It's a good game. The electorate aren't realistic in some saves (I started a save where the house was controlled by Democrats 80-20, the senate was 90-10 democrats, and each state house was almost 75-80% democrat)
Game needs stability and balance mods. Also would be great if you could run for other offices.

I did tune for another save to be a little more realistic & for Independent voters to represent more of the electorate in some states which balances things. I do think that the party swing in midterm elections always seems to go against the president no matter what approval rating. Although that's a realistic thing (Reagan in 86, Clinton in 94, Bush in 06, Obama in 10, and Trump in 18 being prime examples), every midterm election doesn't end in the opposing party sweeping both the house & senate every seat available.

I don't get this game, with liberal economic views and conservative social views I won the city council, had 51-52% approval and then it drops to 40% eventually, with preset views I get even less approval at the start which also drops. How can I increase approval without changing my views? :/
don't advertise your views that doesn't fit the public approval
Pierre down below nailed it. I tried going with my own views and it didnt work out. You need to bite the bullet and choose the views that the people are most concerned about. Check your economics! I was pushing for tax cuts, but had I looked at the economics I would have seen that people in my country were doing great and couldnt care less about tax cuts.
This game is good, but they ahould have given the army some functionality, the army in this game is just a waste of money, since it doesn't do anything... Having a giant army or no army at all doesn't make any impact in the game

Does anybody know if there is a game like this but using the British government system?
It would crash too often.
There is a game called prime minister infinity, where you can lead parties in some countries that have prime ministers. It's old and isnt as good as TPP but it has pretty good graphics and is really detailed.
It's been expressed to the dev multiple times for a Canadian/UK system, but I doubt it'll ever happen. Verm is working so hard on this game and he just doesn't have time to create an entirely new game with an entirely new system. He has so many plans for TPP in the future and will probably take him years to finish them all.
Maybe when the game is finally finished he'll consider making a new game for the parliamentary system, but we shouldn't expect this for a very long time.

Very unlikely. This is a complex game and it prob takes alot to run it and so it would be very hard if not impossible to make it a mobile game.
