Engine failure issues have not been caused by RTV. The issue is oil starvation in right hand corners under load due to the oil pickup design, and the vast majority being failures on track cars. There is at least one prototype baffle in the works that when combined with an overfill, should alleviate the issue. Non-tracked 2nd gen BRZ/GR86's should not have to worry about RTV.

Depends how much power. Every car is different. FRS usually caps out about 360-400 I believe though.
