I really wish they didn't make him out to be such an arrogant toolbag in the movie. In real life he is an intelligent, well educated, unique man who was very supportive of Freddie.

He was so cute in the movie because he was yes arrogant but totally honest at once and happy being himself! Also, he took the most hilarious part of all the members. He, an obviously smart man, never takes himself so seriously and it is just so charming.

He was kind of arrogant when he was young, you can see that in their first documentaries. Also he read the script before they recorded the movie so he for sure agree that Ben was supposed to portrait him like that.
And most important, i dont think he was that type of arrogant, i think he was just full of himself for being a rockstar which in my opinion isnt bad as long as he didnt hurt the other members.

Dicen que a John Deacon lo golpeó un zapato en la cabeza, a Brian se le rompió una cuerda de su guitarra y a Rog también le cayó un zapato ☹ fue un desastre y por eso ya nunca regresaron

So here's the weird thing. Am a fan of Queen's songs since i was 9yo (infact Queen was the first favorite band that i choose when i opened FB account long time ago 😄) but only by their songs. Never intend to know more about the members, cause i knew they're the same age as my parent. Later on i saw Bohemian Rhapsody the movie and literally in love with Ben (he was great in that). And many comments about Gwilym and Joe Mazzello that looked alike the real Queen's member. I googled and found that May and Deacon really has the similarities with the actors. Then i wanna know more about Ben's character which is Roger Taylor when he was young and i thought WOW helllooo... how could i miss this beautiful man all of my life? So suddenly I'm in love with his past. But not just stop there, i wanna know about him more as a present. Found him really gorgeous as an old man and a gentle one (he never hesitate to greetings his fans even in a tight schedules). So i found my self loving his past, present and no doubt forever. Love you Mr. Taylor ❤

I’m pleased he does this. I was 8 years old when Freddie died. I was 3 when Queen went on their last tour with Freddie. So as a 38 year old, I’m glad Roger and Brian are still out there. I got to see Queen + Adam Lambert back in 2017 and Roger Taylor in 2021….so I’m happy.
