Here in frontier silahdars are actually very Meta as they kill iron reapers here quite effectively resulting in them being called the "anti-reaper bois"
I always take them into Free Battles where you can use them as a throwaway unit. They are good fun to use when you dont need to worry about the leadership cost
Hey man. I have a question. If I hover my mouse to the item or units. The letters are too small and hard too read. How to make it big? So that I can read it. Thoughts?
They are good I find. Not as good as reapers, but they move faster, and serve a different role. The other day I protected a friend's falconettis with them, and we racked up a lot of kills, him units, and me the heroes that came to hunt his gunners :)
I feel if you swap them in all purple doctrine they become one-shotting machines. Capable of killing any tier 4 and going up against a lot of tier 5. I would still take reapers and focus on them since they are easier to acquire and more tanky/ forgiving buth sihladars are strong since they are not that well known. I always perform so well with seasonal units because people don't know them as well, especially newer players.
I still have to unlock the azap...to get them...and all this after i unlock the last doctrine for chevaliers. Also i want to mention that the speed doctrines on chevalierw will stack...so you can get 16% more speed...that will reflect in the dmg too.
I don't have these guys yet but am gonna start working on them once I've unlocked either the Azaps or Sipahis, whichever one I unlock first, I've actually been seeing these guys in sieges a lot lately though so while they aren't considered meta probably by a fair few including yourself, they're likely poking at the "roof" to being meta like how Nodachi is seeing a LOT more use. I've also been seeing Azaps lately too.
Yeah they are certainly a very good unit, I guess what we term 'meta' is one of those things that is very open to interpretation, they are certainly a very good unit but for me fall a little short of being a great unit. Nodachi seems to have some significant buffs, Will probboly give a check out and report back in a video on that soon as well
Great videos as always! Quick question: i can play everygame on max with good fps but conquerors blade is always in 20-30 fps any fix for this? Your gameplay looks so smooth
Actually if reapers charge into them they get pretty cramped and silahdars win tried like 15 times with my friend but almost every time the silahdars won with like 2-5 left in the unit

Great unit. Just really hate dealing with heroes. In big fights where they aren’t paying attention, these guys shred heroes. In the smaller fights, heroes tend to be too quick for the strike to connect, plus the stun interruptions, which is why bottom line is better, with that cc immunity while attacking. The new cc immunity is nice, but if you need to get out, they always catch 1 or 2 models. Overall, I like them, but I would like to see their cc immunity during their swings come into play more. A well timed maul or ult can totally disrupt the attack, even with the changes.
I do know what you mean, I think vs heroes these guys work really well if you have a good amount of CC and can keep enemy heroes pinned whilst applying damage with these guys but otherwise yeah can be tough
Since the buff the silahdars are a meta slayer unit how I call them, They win against most mega units, iron reaper ? No match for the silas, madaos not even exist for them, they shred though the grandpas with ease, I take silahdrs in almost every match (with chevaliers because this unit is so strong) And the most of the time they do there job on point :)
@@TheRogueJedii i play them almost in every sieges and i destroy the enemy, the most of the time they are my MVP unit , they shred heros and units KD with the unit is 2,5 i think and 60% winrate and half of the matches MVP unit
@@klaasvaak2575 I have them bottom line and iam a glaive , so I give them attack buff, press 1 ability and they melt away, I don’t even lose one unit or maybe 1-2 against grandpa
I play them on bottom line too, together with blue crossbow, the crossbow shreds every cav who is charging at you and chevs kill the rest, the firerate is insane. good on maps where the enemys often try to flank with cav.
Still looks like their ai isn't the greatest, and also still not being able to combine cover commander with the other abilities hurts its user experience compared to many easier to use units
Shield these day break easily many unit can break them,the game should made shield more durable and when it break unit need to resupply shield(like when arrow is empty) instead of auto recovery maybe a shield gauge.

they do kill reapers on our servers as well.

Oh yes, Nodachi has gotten MASSIVE buffs. In fact Nodachi has gotten the most love out of all the weapons this season alone.

I've not heard of any fix unfortunately, it's a common problem for many people, I'm not sure why mine runs so smoothly I think I just got lucky really

ive had them lose vs greyhairs on the front 1v1 so i wonder how you won or what i did wrong.

potentially not, the actually damage reduction is quite small, maybe worth just using a piercing def

They do have very high damage :)
after the buff the bottom line was trash for me they can neither kill nor tank hits they are like paper soldiers
