The lodges I've come across tend to be built in a way that you'd not notice they're there. At uni, I walked past a lodge nearly every single day for 3 years and didn't even notice the building was actually there. Someone said, 'You know that building between x and y?' I said, 'What you talking about? There's no building there'. It there was. I'd just not noticed the big, nondescript building.
