If Larry pleaded guilty, there is no way he can “come out on top in the end.” By pleading guilty, you immediately forfeit your right to an appeal. Unfortunately, the case is closed.. He almost certainty took a plea bargain though, which means the prosecution either reduced some of the initial charges or dropped some of them entirely in exchange for a guilty plea

You actually can't even fight to change a law until you break it first.. because they will say that you have no standing. This would have been a perfect case for him to crowd fund and fight the case all the way to the Supreme Court. I can't believe he just gave up like this. This is PRIDE.. he didn't want to make a video and ask for help, so instead he just gave up on all of us. Every 2A case should be fought all the way to the SCOTUS. Hey Eric, I discovered your videos in about may of this year and bought my first gun at moss pawn a few weeks ago. You’ve provided lots of information to me as a new gun owner and lots of entertainment as a gun nut since childhood. The recent attempts of the ATF to go after people like Larry Vickers, or that autokey card guy (whose product didn’t even work), along with the reclassification of braced firearms, frt bans, 80% receiver rules, it all has just completely restructured my view on the government entirely. As a 23 year old just sort of learning how to be a well educated and responsible member of society, it’s very eye opening to see the complete disregard for citizens interests in these scenarios.

Here is the thing. Just because Larry Vickers was in Delta doesn't mean that he is incapable of committing a crime. He committed the crime and even pleaded guilty to it. He knew what he was doing so he took the risk of possibly getting caught by the ATF with his actions. People, if you don't like/agree with the laws, then work to change them. Don't just try to slide by undetected and then complain when you get caught. One of my major pet peeves with the whole gun community is the lack of accountability many of you guys actually hold.

The BIBLE says, “Pride commeth before a fall”. When someone (goobernment) is ALWAYS changing the rules to fie their whims, the fall be prolonged, but at some time, it WILL fall in some way.

Feel very sorry for Vickers and all involved, “co-conspirators”, families, friends, and the 2A community in general. However, Vickers did plead guilty. This isn’t nearly as tragic as to what happened to CRS Firearms in my opinion. Yet, I can recall many in the 2A community saying that he basically had it coming; the truth is, Matt broke no law, period. Never mind intent, because this is just a euphemism for pre-crime; total b.s. At the end of the day, this only reaffirms one thing, what’s the point of anyone pleading guilty? Take your chance in the courts, when dealing with that agency.

Crazy. They don’t like how he played the game. I mean stupid comparison but I was once away at a training for two weeks and my department allowed 70 dollars a day for food. So i ate granola bars and coffee for breakfast/lunch then steak, appetizers, and dessert for dinner. They complained when we had to submit the receipts. You can’t be upset when someone operates within the rules because you don’t like how they played..like you said. They said to me “did you have to eat steak and dessert every night?”
    You never said I couldn’t….

Vickers acquired restricted firearms and published museum-quality books on firearm history, only by playing this game as the ATF set up… ultimately there should be no LE demo letter requirement process to import, purchase and own any firearm or machine gun - per the Second Amendment!

Per Article 1 section 8 Congress is empowered to regulate commerce with foreign nations that includes import of everything not just firearms. The second Amendment didn't repeal that empowerment lol.

I dont know i read some of the suff he admitted to and he admitted that he had some of the guns in his collection and actually sold a few to someone else. I mean at the end of the day he did something illegal. And right now it does not matter that it is actually unconstitutional. Its still the law. Hopefully here soon it will change but it hassent yet
