What happens if the power goes out and the truck is not connected? Can you connect the truck and get the power to turn back on or dose it have to be connected before the power goes out? (Black Start) This would also be good to know because if you are in an extended outage, can you take your truck somewhere to charge back up to continue powering your home if its battery gets low and come back an plug in to power things up again? If you had solar, would it offset the amount of power needed for your truck? Like if your PV is producing 2kw and the demand is 3kw will the truck only provide 1kw? Same if it produces more, will it then charge the truck instead of drain it? Basically the truck acting like a Powerwall when connected and off grid.
I cannot answer questions about Powerwall or Solar because I don't have them. I am sure the truck doesn't have to be connected when the power goes out and will power the house once plugged in. My Cybertruck is currently at a Tesla service center to fix various minor panel gaps and alignment issues that I reported at delivery on 9/4. Once I have it back, I will test to see what the end-user has to do, if any, to get the truck to share power when it is disconnected at the time of outage.
