Excellent video, Jurgen. That Mindrot sounds excellent, will definitely have to check them out, mate. Some great records shown. Will definitely have to check some of them out. 🍻🤘
That ‘Mindrot’ album is brilliant… a real hidden gem of a release! Lots on show here Jürgen that I don’t know… so some nice homework for me to do now… but I do know that ‘Viogression’ album… & that is a banger! Good to see you my friend!🤘🏻
Yeah, the Mindrot album is a gem indeed! As you might know I´m a sucker for obscure stuff and always have been... according to my collection, hahaha... More of that crap coming soon!
Just catching up on your videos mister. Great fun to see all those quality releases. Think I have that Mindrot cd.... And what a nice t-shirt. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
You know I´m a sucker for weird releases, hahaha... I always have been according my collection... Pull out that Mindrot CD if you can find it, it´s great! That´s only one of my Enslaved shirts...
Hi Jurgen!! this one was a cool episode, i always enjoy seeing some lesser know stuff..... the only band i know and have heard is Torch, great stuff. I will try to check out a couple that caught my attention Toxin, Savage Steel, Tribulation and just for the name Deflorator, LOL... cheers and be well
I´m not sure if it is a blessing or a curse but I dug into the obscure bottoms of the scene pretty early on, hahaha... Did i have the right/wrong friends back then???
Torth are great!TNTis a nice one, so is another German obscurity with a masterful cover artwork called GaotrContinue with obscure Jürgen stuff !Showcase yourself as the metal grandmaster and reach your true potential as the German Metal Theologian (minus the pipe)
Savage Steel "Begins with a Nightmare" (1987), great Heavy/Speed album. I got the original blue vinyl limited edition (US pressing). The band is from Canada.
Yeah, sorry, Canadian band, hahaha... my fault! Right, "Begins..." is a classic! The epitome of Speed Metal! Should have pulled that out. I love their second album a bit more though.
Hahaha, I thought this is more up to your taste than the "commercial" stuff. Both Savage Steel albums are fantastic, the bonus on the first one is the cover, have you seen that??? Wow!!!
Love these Obscure stuff vids from you and others in the metal community, but it always costs me money 😝 that stuff is now a big part of what I hunt for 🤘Toxin, Savage Steel (I have the first album) and Howlin’ Mad sounds and looks great. Tribulation is great record I was lucky to find a copy last year 🤘have a great weekend Jürgen
Yeah, the money, hehe... I´m glad I still have most of my old late 80s, early 90s collection! Filling in the holes is quite costly sometimes... You too, have a nice weekend!
Great stuff Jürgen! I just would like you to reconsider new Torch! That record is awesome!!! If you like any newer HM record att all that record will be to your liking i guarantee!! They split with their old singer and has a new one one and I went to see them last weekend and they played lot of songs from upcoming new album as well and they really are awesome! So pull out a beer and have a listen to new Torch! I’m sure you will love it!!
I really think you should. And I really really think you will dig the shit out of it! It’s mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, so it sounds pretty awesome!
Great video, thank you! Lot of stuff to check out that I have never listened to. On another topic: I recently really got into Protector. I especially love Urm The Mad (1989). I imagine you're a fan? You already made a video about Protector or maybe you'll make one? Cheers
Thank you, more of this unknown s**t soon, hahaha... I love my old obscure records! I love the old Protector. When I do a video on them it will probably only be stuff before they reunited.

Obscure all the way! 80s obscure thrash and adjacent stuff that me in Australia won't have heard of!
Without looking at the unacceptable shipping costs these are (almost) all pretty achievable records. You know how that goes, hahaha...
Viogression were great, somewhat different from your typical roll of death bands of the time. Love that album.

I love these videos where you dive into your collection for obscure goodies! Great stuff sir!
Hahaha, that´s what we´re here for! Should I do more of those???
@@albertampel4175 Yes indeed
I've seen a few of these before I'm sure Brendan has shown Tribulation and maybe something else but it's wayyyy too obscure for me to have heard 😂

Dude, I know that first one. Totally forgot it existed, can't even remember what it sounds like, haha. I will definitely listen them back.
Deflorator 🤣 I will buy a re-issue of that vinyl just for the cover/title alone !
hahaha, ok record but the cover rules, right???
