      Wipe down my bike with chamois if it has been a nice summer easy ride OR thoroughly clean down the bike if it has been a particularly muddy ride. After that, I will then take a shower myself. Since I don't drink or smoke, it's fruit juice afterwards.

    Best bike is the one you can afford or got they take you to places you wouldn't normally go ,you experience travelling a clean way ,when i travel through countryside and forests you get to escape the rat race for a while 😊

    I live in North Yorkshire, so it’s big skies and bridleways for me across the national parks. I like the big views, bit of ‘wilderness’, natural trails and some sense of solitude. I don’t mind the odd trail centre, but they can be busy and it doesn’t feel as adventurous when everyone’s heading the same way around a manmade loop, even though they are great for all weather and can be fun for a day out. Takes all sorts to make a world though.
    Whyte 140 E-Lyte would be a dream bike, if not for the price tag!

    As someone who is not a full on trail junkie, I don't bother much about shock travel or sophisticated specs, or high end components. I value looks and comfort more than anything. If a bike pleases my eyes, I'll buy it. But it MUST be a full suspension for my dodgy back comfort - non-negotiable. I mostly do what I call "exploring" - embarking on super long rides sightseeing places. My rides include a lot of countryside, canal towpaths, fire roads, asphalt, a few single trails, and a lot less technical trails and downhills. That means any bike is good for me if we are to be honest. However, for my personal taste, it needs a supersized battery for the long rides that I do. Before the introduction of the current +700Wh equipped bikes, I used to carry two spare 500Wh or 630Wh batteries in my backpack. But now I don't carry any. My current Haibike AllMtn 10 is fitted with an MRS 360Wh Yamaha Range Extender, bringing total capacity to 1080Wh, perfect for any of the long rides that I do. I mostly ride by myself, and occasionally with other eMTBers.

    Great analysis! In my humble opinion, based on some very undelightful experience, one of the most important things to consider is to be sure you buy your bike locally from a full service bike shop where you can access replacement items such as batteries, computer & components easily, have repairs done quickly to your ride, and someone who will be an intermediary between you and the Mfr. if you have warranty issues. There's no worse experience than trying to get help from a local bike shop on an ebike they know nothing about and when they help to order your part it takes 8 months to import, or worse cannot help at all.

      @@embn I am riding a kenevo expert. Changed the front air spring to 200mm of travel and over stroked the rear with a 230x65 shock to give 187mm of travel! I ride it from xc to dh! And got 155 cranks and put a 36t chain ring on it also!

    Great Video ! You Hit all the points you need to ask yourself when looking to get an E Bike 👍 I started with a Giant E Explore and have just swapped out the tires and put in a new Cassette and derailer , chain set from Shimano . I ride mostly on pavement so I went with road tires . But I still like the MTB style over a Gravel Bike . Point is there are lots of things you can do to customise your bike even after you have had it for a while 😃Love the chanell , Great stuff !

    As work have participated in the c2w scheme id be interested in a emtb. Firstly i want to experience long rides mainly via roads but branch out in to off road and trails with down hills. As its quite a cost is it worth getting a full sus due to me wanting to get into down hill as the help getting uphill will help. Will a full sus work well on mainly roads for a few months then branching out to offroad. Better to have it than want it later on ?

    What motor do you suggest for a gradient of 15% or a little more in a 50m section? Considering low cadence, with current route without motor of 23km (14.5 Miles), to extend it to 35km with engine (22 miles). Regular weight of 80Kg including equipment (177 Lb)?

    I'm currently riding a 2017 Marlin 6. I ride cross country, single track, uphill, downhill and some suburban streets. I like to explore places that I can't get to by foot or vehicle and ride trails for fun and exercise. I think I'd like to get another hardtail, looking at the Marlin 6+, Powerfly 4 gen 4 and the Giant Talon E+ 29". Not sure how to decide between these, I'd like to keep riding the same stuff at the same speed but I want my effort to take me longer distances for exploration.

    Most times both the bike and rider are in turbo so range is pretty good. Just have display on down tube no need for handlebar remote. I would suggest if you ride MTB when you look at a EMTB think about getting something with more travel.

    I’d love an all rounder that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I like the techie stuff, but love long rides and epic days. It doesn’t need to be top spec because I’m not planning on racing it…

      @omahamtb6580 Місяць тому

      Have you looked at the Polygon Collosus N8e? Or the Siskiu T7e if spec doesn't matter. Both are solid eMTBs and are relatively cheap. The N8e is on sale for $4400 USD and the T7e is $3900 USD at the moment. Or you could save a few hundred more and go with the T6e but then you get a smaller battery and I'm not sure that's worth the savings.

    it feels like the BIG divide in e-MTB is light of full-power. That's way more of a matter than - say - AM or Enduro with MTBs. Tech around motor and battery dominate the discussion with e-MTBs, questions like 140 or 160 travel come second.
    Oh - and I chat with the mates, we might even end up in a hot-tub or sauna after a long ride.

    I don’t know how many times I need to say this shit but these channels are completely out of ideas for videos. Their subscriber base certainly has been around for a long time and they’re gaining new subscriber so putting out a remedial video like this at this point in the channel, it’s just Ludacris. It’s insulting to the viewers. But guess what that’s what happens when you put your wokeness out there

    • @vashon100

      Unfortunately some people are too lazy to go back and binge existing videos, they think they need to just watch the latest and ask questions that have been already answered, thus a somewhat repetitive nature.
