Awesome video, and thanks for the shoutout! My Shiva is indeed from a traditional base, more specifically a blintzed frog base, and it's supposed to be holding flames (as Shiva does in a lot of statues I saw while researching the topic). Again really cool that you're making these, I'll try to catch you live at some point!
Hello Obb first of all ty for your great videos, they are very inspirational. I have a Question, the designing with boxpleating is directed by mathematical rules (for exampel Maekawas Theorem), what do you think could AI change here, could you imagine that in some years you maybe just have to draw a tree in a programm, say wich flaps you want and then AI packs everything? PS: Sorry for my bad english, greetings from Germany
Hi! Thanks for your question! We already have programs that can take trees and assign flap structure. I don’t think AI will really add anything since boxpleating is mostly solved. What it could maybe do is give inspiration to poses or some shaping. But it still won’t really fully replace people’s creativity in shaping.
hey boice will you do a stream on sunday ??? if yes can you discuss you fake head empty ?? since the last time i have been trying to add more details onto the torso of the model but none of my prototypes work when i fold them .
It's very enjoyable you reviewing the models one by one. It's a pleasure to listen to you. Flying Antman is my fav.@11:15 Great photography as well
I’m glad you like this review format! Ill be continuing it for the next rounds! And yes that antman on an ant had some of the best presentation
shiva, musketeer, and antman ones were absolutely insane
Indeed!
Love seeing these amazing videos and inspiration as a beginner designer. Love your art OBB
Thank you! Glad to share!

@@OrigamiByBoice You welcome
Thats Awesome 🙌🏻
Thanks bro!
This is absolutely crazy, how do you even acquire these designing skills!?
All of them have practiced alot!
Hey Boice...Could you make a collapse tutorial of your square twist samurai or pirate since I am unable to collapse them?
If not... It's fine 😊
I think if you can’t collapse it it might be too hard to shape. But I can add it to the vote for next tutorial 👍
Amazing origami skills.
True! They are all so great
