It's still a series worth playing. ME 1 has dated mechanics that have to be muscled through, but the games were built as a trilogy and their story comes together as one.
I did not play mass effect, But from the playthroughs i have rewatched time and time again, I just LOVE Tali, Garrus and Legion. It split my damn Heart in two when Tali commited suicide because the damn Let's player messed up.
God I forgot how much I love this series. And of course Tali. Never even looked at the other romance options every time I played...Tali's the only one for this guy.
I made the grave mistake of romancing Ashley in the first mass effect... never again. It works well with the character as I play him too. Ashley left me because she wasn’t loyal and wouldn’t listen to reason. Tali sprang back to help. He stayed with her, she stayed with him.
Plus he's the last Prothean, he's not going to find alive female Protheans, so he's going to check out every other female alien ass Shep drags along with him/her and Shep to if female Shep lol

Why do I not remember when tali shoots at legion. Huh, also played Mass effect 3 tons of times, I do not recognize that armor. after watching this entire video I am so surprised that even after all these years and all those playthroughs doing everything I thought I could do I still manage to find dialogue that I never saw. Jesus Christ fucking I miss Mass Effect so much. Mass Effect Andromeda was fine and all but it has nothing on the original trilogy.

Some have alleged it is possible in the base game (which I still doubt) but even then it sounds like you have to take a VERY roundabout path through the missions to make it happen.
Lol i didn't mod anything and you are wrong it is possible by default to recruit legion before tali. You can do thane and samara recruit mission + 3 loyalty missions. This will trigger collector ship mission. Complete collector ship mission and you can do derelict reaper immediatley to get legion.
@@EnDSchultz1 It's not only possible but actually fairly simple once you know how the story in ME2 works, I've done it a couple times on the Xbox 360 version, recomend it even, never enough new scenes with Tali, and Legion is cool too

Tali'Zorah nar Rayya, later Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, officially, the Willow Rosenberg of Team Normandy SR-2, she's cute and sweet, super-smart and nerdy, witty and feisty, sassy and, on occasion, rarely, quite a flirty tease when she wants to be. She is just too adorable for words for us and everyone will never stop loving her or forget her for many, many years to come, at least in my opinion I think.
As a massive periodic table nerd, I find the fact that Tali has apparently memorized all the elements and important facts about each one to be genuinely attractive.

Eh... no? You absolutely can do it conventionally. To do so, first you need to release Grunt from his tank ASAP, do the Horizon mission, then: 1, Do Thane and Samara's recruitment mission, but not Tali's. Then do 3 random missions. This will trigger the Collector ship mission. 2, Go to Collector ship mission. 3, Go to IFF mission. 4, Then go to Tali's recruitment mission. So, with some planning, you can get Legion before Tali, and still be able to do all loyalty missions, and save the whole crew.
you can use a save editor as opposed to hex editing or planning how you want to go about playing the game. you basically just have to tick a box or two once or twice and you're done. you can do this to get Legion right after Freedom's Progress like I did a few times so you can bring him to all recruitment missions and hear the stuff he says.

@@ferrusmanus4013 guys...every race manage their adulthood in a different way, Liara(and Asaris) had to be 100 years old, Humans at least 18(in most of the world), Krogan soon as they feel the "tingle"(hormones) and after a trial, Quarians around 16(but they become adults once they complete the pilgrimage which can take many years, Tali got lucky basically), Turian i don't remember(probably something related to military), Salarian probably very soon their life-span is around 40 human-years...so it may depends...maybe soon as you finish school...everyone aside Tali in ME1 and Grunt for a few missions in ME2 is a full adult based on their own cultures...

It takes effort to live up to famous series with a fresh start. Andromeda tried that, but it got rolled over by nitpicking fans, even as it was pretty good.

Back in ME1 I considered myself to be a pretty xenophobic fellow (FOR THE EMPRAH!! and all that). In ME2 I realized Garrus is the Best Bro anyone can ask for and Tali is more loyal than anyone can deserve (and Liara too, though she remained as back up).

I love this series. The writing was so great for almost all of it, but the horrible animations did kind of suck. Tali is singing her heart and soul to Shepard and he's just staring past her emotionless like she isn't even there. *cringe*
If they remaster the game, it's basically going to be: $1,000 in graphical improvements $10,000,000 in somehow getting everyone back together in the franchise just to get the facial animations right aaaaaand maybe not having the same idle animations

By default, it's not possible to meet Legion before Tali. That dialogue only appears if you mod him in before you recruit her.

You can't do it conventionally. I forget how to do it exactly, but it involves code breaking & cheats.
Eh... no? You absolutely can do it conventionally. To do so, first you need to release Grunt from his tank ASAP, do the Horizon mission, then:
1, Do Thane and Samara's recruitment mission, but not Tali's. Then do 3 random missions. This will trigger the Collector ship mission.
2, Go to Collector ship mission.
3, Go to IFF mission.
4, Then go to Tali's recruitment mission.
So, with some planning, you can get Legion before Tali, and still be able to do all loyalty missions, and save the whole crew.

you can use a save editor as opposed to hex editing or planning how you want to go about playing the game.
you basically just have to tick a box or two once or twice and you're done. you can do this to get Legion right after Freedom's Progress like I did a few times so you can bring him to all recruitment missions and hear the stuff he says.

@@ferrusmanus4013 guys...every race manage their adulthood in a different way, Liara(and Asaris) had to be 100 years old, Humans at least 18(in most of the world), Krogan soon as they feel the "tingle"(hormones) and after a trial, Quarians around 16(but they become adults once they complete the pilgrimage which can take many years, Tali got lucky basically), Turian i don't remember(probably something related to military), Salarian probably very soon their life-span is around 40 human-years...so it may depends...maybe soon as you finish school...everyone aside Tali in ME1 and Grunt for a few missions in ME2 is a full adult based on their own cultures...
