I did not play mass effect, But from the playthroughs i have rewatched time and time again, I just LOVE Tali, Garrus and Legion. It split my damn Heart in two when Tali commited suicide because the damn Let's player messed up.

I made the grave mistake of romancing Ashley in the first mass effect... never again. It works well with the character as I play him too. Ashley left me because she wasn’t loyal and wouldn’t listen to reason. Tali sprang back to help. He stayed with her, she stayed with him.
As a massive periodic table nerd, I find the fact that Tali has apparently memorized all the elements and important facts about each one to be genuinely attractive.
Plus he's the last Prothean, he's not going to find alive female Protheans, so he's going to check out every other female alien ass Shep drags along with him/her and Shep to if female Shep lol

Eh... no? You absolutely can do it conventionally. To do so, first you need to release Grunt from his tank ASAP, do the Horizon mission, then: 1, Do Thane and Samara's recruitment mission, but not Tali's. Then do 3 random missions. This will trigger the Collector ship mission. 2, Go to Collector ship mission. 3, Go to IFF mission. 4, Then go to Tali's recruitment mission. So, with some planning, you can get Legion before Tali, and still be able to do all loyalty missions, and save the whole crew.
you can use a save editor as opposed to hex editing or planning how you want to go about playing the game. you basically just have to tick a box or two once or twice and you're done. you can do this to get Legion right after Freedom's Progress like I did a few times so you can bring him to all recruitment missions and hear the stuff he says.

@@ferrusmanus4013 guys...every race manage their adulthood in a different way, Liara(and Asaris) had to be 100 years old, Humans at least 18(in most of the world), Krogan soon as they feel the "tingle"(hormones) and after a trial, Quarians around 16(but they become adults once they complete the pilgrimage which can take many years, Tali got lucky basically), Turian i don't remember(probably something related to military), Salarian probably very soon their life-span is around 40 human-years...so it may depends...maybe soon as you finish school...everyone aside Tali in ME1 and Grunt for a few missions in ME2 is a full adult based on their own cultures...

18:44 I actually kinda liked how instead of cracking a joke about Shepard’s misfortune like the rest of the romance options (it’s Liara by default if you haven’t romanced any ME3 squad mates), Tali actually expresses genuine concern for Shepard & shortly afterwards, recalls their first meeting in the wards back in ME1 instead of making a fish tank joke. Kinda wished that a few of the other romance options (maybe Kaiden & Liara) would also share these concerns while the others (like Garrus & Ashley) can keep the “having a bad day?” joke. Keep them attuned to their personalities so to speak.
I believe it's actually Shepard's best friend by default. The game keeps an invisible friendship score for stuff like this. "Being the LI" usually serves as a trump card.
The funniest part of all the "drunk Tali" scenes is that she probably hasn't even had that much to drink. Weak quarian immune systems won't be able to handle alcohol as well.
I'm currently going through Mass Effect for the first time. On ME3 and enjoying it. Romanced Liara throughout all the games. But Tali is a close second...she's soooo adorable. I LOOVE HER LITTLE HOP SHE DOES. ADORABLE
Back in ME1 I considered myself to be a pretty xenophobic fellow (FOR THE EMPRAH!! and all that). In ME2 I realized Garrus is the Best Bro anyone can ask for and Tali is more loyal than anyone can deserve (and Liara too, though she remained as back up).

You can't do it conventionally. I forget how to do it exactly, but it involves code breaking & cheats.
Eh... no? You absolutely can do it conventionally. To do so, first you need to release Grunt from his tank ASAP, do the Horizon mission, then:
1, Do Thane and Samara's recruitment mission, but not Tali's. Then do 3 random missions. This will trigger the Collector ship mission.
2, Go to Collector ship mission.
3, Go to IFF mission.
4, Then go to Tali's recruitment mission.
So, with some planning, you can get Legion before Tali, and still be able to do all loyalty missions, and save the whole crew.

you can use a save editor as opposed to hex editing or planning how you want to go about playing the game.
you basically just have to tick a box or two once or twice and you're done. you can do this to get Legion right after Freedom's Progress like I did a few times so you can bring him to all recruitment missions and hear the stuff he says.

@@ferrusmanus4013 guys...every race manage their adulthood in a different way, Liara(and Asaris) had to be 100 years old, Humans at least 18(in most of the world), Krogan soon as they feel the "tingle"(hormones) and after a trial, Quarians around 16(but they become adults once they complete the pilgrimage which can take many years, Tali got lucky basically), Turian i don't remember(probably something related to military), Salarian probably very soon their life-span is around 40 human-years...so it may depends...maybe soon as you finish school...everyone aside Tali in ME1 and Grunt for a few missions in ME2 is a full adult based on their own cultures...

I was really heart-broken when you had to live her behind and then never come back at the end.

18:44 I actually kinda liked how instead of cracking a joke about Shepard’s misfortune like the rest of the romance options (it’s Liara by default if you haven’t romanced any ME3 squad mates), Tali actually expresses genuine concern for Shepard & shortly afterwards, recalls their first meeting in the wards back in ME1 instead of making a fish tank joke.
Kinda wished that a few of the other romance options (maybe Kaiden & Liara) would also share these concerns while the others (like Garrus & Ashley) can keep the “having a bad day?” joke. Keep them attuned to their personalities so to speak.
I believe it's actually Shepard's best friend by default.
The game keeps an invisible friendship score for stuff like this. "Being the LI" usually serves as a trump card.

Back in ME1 I considered myself to be a pretty xenophobic fellow (FOR THE EMPRAH!! and all that). In ME2 I realized Garrus is the Best Bro anyone can ask for and Tali is more loyal than anyone can deserve (and Liara too, though she remained as back up).
