Is it a watered down Recycler with some pixie dust? I'd love to see this reviewed head to head with the latest recycler and super recycler (and vs. EGO for that matter)
Thank you for this video! ANY independent reviews on this model have been a long time coming. I am amazed how Toro has sat on their butt the first month since this mower hit the stores, and have done nothing to promote it on UA-cam. This is only the second independent review video I have found on this model, the first being someone’s negative opinion without even testing it. The past month has given me plenty of time to assess from multiple comparison videos of E-Mowers, that I’ll invest in a Milwaukee. I really wanted to believe in this mower, as I am a huge Toro gas fan, though it is a hard-sell seeing how Toro isn’t promoting this product. Also, knowing that if I want to side discharge with this model, I have to wait post-registration of the mower to have a side discharge attachment mailed to me. I’ll take the Toro stripe roller I have on my current Toro and attach it to the Milwaukee when I purchase one on sale. Step up or step off Toro, your inaction is extremely disappointing, don’t assume customer loyalty will save you in the E-Mower market space as people continue to convert from gas.
DO NOT BUY THIS MOWER IF YOU HAVE ST AUGUSTINE GRASS!! I just got the model with the single blade. I tried it on my front yard first. The cut quality was poor and there was zero striping in the grass. Both this and my 60v recycler have a listed max blade height of 4 inches, but it was obvious from looking at them next to each other that the stripe mower was a bit higher. I figured that I probably just needed to let the grass grow into the mow. A week later, I tried it on my backyard, which was 6 inches by then. The mower had no problem cutting the thick grass. It never stalled or slowed down, even in the higher parts. The cut quality was still poor, and there was no striping at all. The "key" popped off while I mowed, and I have not been able to find it. Eventually I realized you can just stick a screwdriver or a stick in the keyhole, so I lowered the wheel height by one notch, even though ST Augustine is best cut at 4 inches, minimum. The cut quality was much better at the lower height, but it still didn't stripe my yard. I really like my 60v Recycler, which I've had for 3 years, but this mower is a big disappointment. I've seen several videos of it striping lighter grass like Bermuda, but it doesn't seem up to the challenge of St Augustine.
I heard the battery life is only 30 minutes and it take 4 hours to charge . I live on a corner and have big back yard and front yard I would have to chare it 4 times to finish. not worth it. Good review like 29
I returned mine after first mow, The cut was good but the self propelled system is the worse. It is very slow even on the fastest setting. The build quality on mine was bad, the rear wheel fell off ten minutes on the first cut. Its not very light either, hard to manually push through thick grass. Im surprised Toro put this on the market, the other 60volt mowers are a way better value than this one.

The Super Recycler is far better than this product and any other e mower
