  • Here's one that you really don't see up on UA-cam, installing the Warn Elite Stubby front bumper without hoop onto a new 2023 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon. This is a super sweet looking bumper that really gives a nice and tight fitment up against the front end of the Jeep, and also keeps the winch sitting nice and low so as not to interfere with airflow into the engine. We installed this solo in a few hours in the garage, and added a Smittybilt XRC 9.5 Gen3 winch to it. A few days later we also added a new set of Dobinsons Zenith LED Driving lights to fill up the panels on the sides of the winch and totally compliment the headlights of the Jeep. Now all the remaining halogen lights need to be upgraded to LED so that it's a consistent light color.
We did run into an issue firstly with all the hardware missing from the box (box had shipping damage), but Warn was nice enough to send out a replacement set about a week later, as they had to make a few of the brackets to complete the installation kit. We weren't so happy with the grade and quality of the large bolts used to hold the bumper onto the frame horns, and after snapping one, we went to the local Ace Hardware and replaced all 6 with Grade 10.9 stainless steel bolts to make sure that doesn't happen again, so I highly recommend doing that before starting.
Hopefully a few tips and tricks in the video help you with future bumper installs.

Any follow up video on adding lights to the bumper? I have a 23 rubicon and it has fog lights. I don’t like the idea of not being able to use my OEM fog lights. However, this is the cleanest and simplest bumper for the JL. Love it.

I have added some large driving lights to it. I haven't made a video about how I added them but they can be seen in a new video soon on upgrading the headlamps. With not much room, I opted for the biggest set of lights. There's no way to add factory fogs to this bumper. It has holes so you could mount a stud mounted set of lights easily.

Very nice front bumper, I like how you dont have to cut the frame horns or switch to the antirok sway bar in order to install this bumper, but after the bumper is installed doesn't it include a front license plate mount? If so can it be mounted on the right side of the bumper?

It's been great. I've had it on for a bit over a year now with no issues. No license plate holder was included. I'm not sure where could mount one without drilling some holes

@@ExitOffroad Yea ok, do you know if there is a necessary fairlead size you will have to get with this specific bumper?

@christiandeee6058 you just need the standard fairlaid size that comes with pretty much all 8 10 and 12,000 lb winches

How are you liking the Falcons? How's the road noise compared to the K02's?

Great so far but they don't have many miles on them yet. About to go on a big trip so I'll see how they do. I'm not a fan of BFG, as they live to get a Big F'n Gash in the sidewalls so easily

@@ExitOffroad Interested to see how they do. Like your Jeep, I also have a white jeep and I'm in Florida too.
