Cool. But the burner was too close to the back of the seat. I would have flipped the sink with the burner even if you're going to push the seat forward when cooking. And I would have put the fan directly over the burner.
I have a 2010 Burb and have wanted to do the same for traveling, camping etc. The wifey wants to pull a small trailer, I’m trying to compromise with doing both. lol.
Wow that is remarkable! I’m curious when you have the doors open or the tailgate open normally if it’s the the light in there is left on it will drain your battery and it could make your battery go die I mean go dead so what are you do to not let that happen? I’m curious I have a 2001 GMC jimmy it’s four-door and it has backseat that folds down and I put some memory foam back there and made myself a bed comfortable bed because I used to commute between Santa Cruz Rio Vista California that it’s very comfortable and I like you very much but the entire thing is the bed!! I also have medical conditions and sometimes I might not be feeling well I could be in town I could be anywhere and if you’re not feeling well I can pull over in a safe place in climbing to the back and lay down until I feel better can continue on with my journey wherever I happen to be going. That’s the reason I built my little thing but yours is just remarkable remarkable but I can’t imagine you know it’s a tight fit with the bed I mean between the bed and the roof and I can’t imagine spending time in there where I wasn’t sleeping because it was Burling down because it would just be Too short of a place
Love this build. I have a 2006 Chevy Suburban. Id like this same build but leaving then windows expose (I like to be able to see all around me) ofcourse will need some window coverings. Ill also like to be able to covert the bed into a loveseat, as well as being able to expand the bed to make it a double bed. Where are you locate?

What are your thoughts on storing propane inside the vehicle? How many days did the build take? How much did the build cost including materials and labor?
The customer wanted propane for her stove. We ended up taking it out a few months later and she uses a butane burner now. I’ve traveled for long periods of time with a propane tank in my vehicle with no problems but I now people get very worried about it venting off. This is particularly true for boats where the gas has no where to escape. If your parking your vehicle in hot parking lots with no ventilation I wouldn’t put a tank in there but otherwise you just use common sense. Keep the vehicle well ventilated or put the tank outside if it’s extremely hot. That build took around 4 weeks Each build is priced differently depending on options you want. Typically it starts around $12,000.
Hi for the ceiling fan ventilation. Is it possible to share some insights on that? If not, I understand. Did you put plywood in between the headliner and roof? So the inside trim can bolt it on? Or is it just going through the headliner to hold ? But ceilings fan is a nice idea and thinking of doing that to my 1st gen sequoia. Anyways thank you for the video that that is a sick build
Also, I am curious. I’ve contacted you in the past, I have a 2020 Chevy Express Cargo van that I bought brand new and it needs insulation to start out with. Can you please tell me your procedure for insulating a cargo van “from scratch”? There is nothing permanently built in the van thus far. Everything in there easily comes out.
Yes it has a 200 watt solar panel on the roof that charges 2 - 100ah AGM batteries. Its also tied into the alternator to charge when you start the car.
Having propane in a car or a boat used to be a huge problem. Especially in boats where the tank would get hot and off gas filling the hull where it couldn’t escape. A massive amount of gas would fill the bottom of the boat and one spark would ignite an explosion. Years ago they filled the tanks 100% and that left no room for expansion. Per federal guidelines, they're instructed companies to only fill tanks to 80% capacity to allow propane to expand when external temperatures rise. The hotter it is outside; the more propane expands to fill the extra 20%. That being said people should still use common sense and take the tank out if you plan on leaving it parked in a very hot climate with no ventilation. The person who owns this vehicle lives in it full time and travels to cool climates year round. I also know lots of van lifers who travel with 20 lb tanks with no problems even in hot climates like Mexico and Guatemala.
Our builds start at $7500 and go up from there. It really depends on what features you want. You can go to our website everventurecustom.com and fill out a form to get a specific quote.
Excellent build and impressive detail, however……….. One thing stood out as a major red flag 🚩. A horizontal propane tank right behind the driver seat. Not venting to the outside? Is there a placard outside stating propane tank inside to warn first responders? Guys, I’m not poo-pooing your build at all. Just a MAJOR safety concern for firefighters such as myself.
Very cool build, well done
real cool build and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing
Missed the part reviewing the toiket & shower 😂
Public restrooms and or portable potty or both
EXCELLENT VIDEO KITCHEN, PLATFORM, EXTRA SPACE, INWARD OPENING MAKES IT POSSIBLE NOT TO OPEN UP VEHICLE
Stealth Camping In A Suburban
Awesome build
Nice. My old inexpensive 05 Suburban Z71 4x4 with just a matress and cooler serves me well.

This is what I'm looking for. What is that bed style called?
I want to access everything from the inside.
FYI: This is NOT a "car", but an SUV, which is a body-on-frame designed vehicle just like a pickup.
Love it!
How much for y'all to do insulation?

No generator or AC? Would be nice in the north but not the south lol
How much to convert???
How much for this exact build
I really want a skylight on my suburban, I'd be curious to see how you put the fan up there on the roof.
Show the solar panel

How does the car stay warm overnight in the cold winter?
We insulate the vehicles very well and when she needs it the customer turns the heater on in the vehicle.
👌
Love it all ,,just not fan of propane,,but very nice
How much $ for this build?
Yes, I would like to know the cost of this build?
This customer already owned the vehicle and paid around $14,200 total for this build.
@@everventurecustom thank you! Did you give him solar, house batteries, and a solar generator? Do you mind if I ask what kind/how much power?

I wonder how much build like that costs…
Is that bad a twin?
With the same design and build how much approximately would it cost for my Suburban 2014 .
Is it safe to have the propane tank inside the vehicle ? I didn't see any venting to the outside

It's quite dangerous to have the propane on the side like that, it won't vent properly
Yeah, don't know how they figured that would work.
Not to mention in the summer it could get to be well over 100 degrees. Don’t think I’d want a giant gas bottle on board with that type of temperature.
How much do your builds typically cost?
Typically anywhere between $15,000 to $20,000 and higher. Depending on how fancy people want me to build them.
@everventurecustom including the vehicle correct? Or is that just to make the additions to it?
@@everventurecustom really amazing work by the way
@@davidslack8163 no that’s just the build. The suburban in this video was around $60,000 just for the vehicle.

When the car is turned off, does the fridge still work?
Yes, we installed 2 AGM 100ah batteries in the vehicle to power the fridge, fan, lights, water pump, and the inverter.
Propane tank is dangerous on its side like that.
Yeah we ended up taking it out pretty early on.
