That's tricky. If you don't have any other option, submit it with LOE, explaining everything and that you have submitted new application for renewal. Visa should be valid even after passport expires.

Yes, I think that should be good. Also once check with college they have people which deal with such issues, so they can guide u better
Hi, What happened with me is -
Dec 13 - PPR request received. I was very happy.
Dec 14 - I took appointment with VFS with the PPR - for submission of passport.
Dec 20 - Medical request sent to me for getting my medical updated.
Dec 23 - I got the passport sent back my passport issuance is not yet done because your application is still in process
Dec 26th - I submit my medical.
Now , when i tried to use the PPR to submit the passport again VFS says that the PPR cannot be reused again.
Now january 12th, my PPR is expired. I have sent a webform, what can be done? what is the next steps?

When they provide resubmission letter, deadline is already extended. But for safe side, raise a webform.

That's strange. Generally, they ask for fees and then process the application.

Our was old enough to get pictures. It’s tricky with 10 months old but they have some relaxation for infants so don’t worry

That’s strange, there should be a letter explaining everything. Better to send email to Embassy and raise webform.

If your visa is not expired, you can travel, but best would be to get work visa and then only travel

Hi, I am in the same situation but the reason for my rejection is Passport Damaged & they have also mentioned in others that my medicals will expire soon. I have raised a webform for the extension of the stipulated 30 days as I have to submit a new passport. Yes, you might have got the letter which ask to submit the passport again.
It is valid around 1 month but to be on safe side let IRCC know through webform.

Check with VFS if they will allow 2 passport and if they are not taking maybe put a letter in the envelope explaining your issue.
New passport has details of old one, so should not be an issue.
Mere sath bhi yahi hua hai.... But meri PPR mail lo abhi 1 month ni hua.... Or passport without stamp a gaya due to photograph issue. Now please tell me.... The photographs section is saying that kindly send your passport and photograph with dependent or applicant together.
Check your photos again. Read the refusal letter carefully, it will tell what the problem is. Generally, they refuse child's photograph or if your photos are modified.

Wait for the passport. Generally, they send all the passport on the same day. You can check with VFS about the status.

yes, we got in 21 days I guess. But once they written, you can resubmit even if 30 days hav passed from the initial email.

I have got my passport returned without stamping as they told me it was damaged. Now i have a new passport and have to book appointment at VFS but i am not able to book passport submission appointment as it is saying that we already have a booking request by my application number.
Can you please suggest how can i book the appointment for the resubmission of passport

It can be done online, but if you are getting issue best to call them and get this fixed.

That is strange, you should be able to book online. Please call support and let them know your issue.

We applied for PR under express entry .our passport returned yesterday due to damage in one passport . The time period for ppr is remain just 15 days . What we do to extend the time for ppr . Because it takes atleast 20 days to renew the passport. Thanks and regards

It is taking time these days, but you will not know if the problem is there or not until passports are received back to you.

No need to upload Resubmission letter while booking courier, but do send it along with your documents.

yes, all the messages will be there. You don't know if the passport is stamped or not until you receive it.

They have asked to submit the photograph with the stamp on the back of the photograph along with my name dob and date on which photograph has been taken but i have submitted without stamp all other things i wrote on the back but not the stamp

You should raise a webform and inform ircc and You don't need to panic,you can submit passport as soon you get it.I had same issue and I got my new passport 14 days after my 30 days were over so no issue because you have resubmission letter with you

Sir I have crossed the the timeline of 30 days of submitting the application in re submission it will take around 7-8 days for the appointment day. Will crossing over 30 days effect anything or there is no need to worry and submit everything for the stamping
If you got resubmission letter than you can submit after 30 days period along with resubmission letter. Also let the embassy know through webform.

Do IRCC ask to renew the passport during PR process prior to visa stamp in case expiry is close. If so how to inform the relevant Province?
Passport should at least have 6 months validity. IRCC will not ask, we have to do it, else they will not stamp it. So better to start early. You can call them.
Can we renew our passport after medical passed and before PPR. Actually my passport will expire in April 2024 and I am expecting medical request in next two months (may 2023) . What is your suggestion please

To get your study visa approved, it is best to select the similar stream or you should have strong reason to switch the stream.

They will ask to resubmit if your photos are not as per their guidelines. Don’t worry application will not be rejected.

Photos has to be submitted for offline process and for online, you will have to upload digital copy

No idea, but please keep me updated. Generally that form allows vfs to contact ircc on your behalf and send you sms updates. I will suggest to call vfs.

I lodged visa with my old passport and renewed the passport and sent only new passport. I can't send both the passports as vfs told me that 2 passports can't be sent at the same time. Will it affect in visa stamping? I am so much worried about it.
If they told you so, it should be good but i think you should have added an explanation about your new passport. Passport also has old passport no. Hope they will check that

Try to submit within 1 month. But if you are not able to just open webform and let them know that you have applied for the new passport and waiting for it aling with passport fee receipt

This size is common for PR application. Did you get any instructions about photo specifications?

You get tracking number to track and also if you have opted for SMS, you will receive message for everything.

My friend got passport request and submitted passport in pr case . But returns with damaged passport but when he got ppr . And ppr letter saying submitting within 30 days . So now do he need to raise web from to tell them whole situation or just wait for new passport or submit

I visited VFS they told to contact customer care. I contacted them. They asked to send an email. I sent email. They replied "will update you soon". I received this email on Friday(30-sep-2022).

Yes, there are chances. IRCC will refuse if the docs do not meet their requirements. basically, that's the place from where the docs get refused.
