Great infirmation. Thank you very very much. You helped me on my way to become a PR. A doubt I have is If I am an inside applicant who is outside Canada for vacation, and as Mexican I enter to the Canada just with passport and ETA (which I have), do I need the travel document anyways? The mail that I received from IRCC says my application is ready for finalization pending the confirmation of my PR status. Thank you ! This video was very helpful. I'm currently in the 3rd scenario you suggested. All stages on my Application tracker are showing as completed and my medical is passed, I believe I should expect PPR soon however I miss my husband and am planning on visiting him in Montreal as I have a TRV, but I'm concerned i'll get PPR while i'm there and want to avoid spending thousands on a ticket back home to submit my passport for stamping. I just want to make sure that the 3rd scenario of switching to virtual landing has been successful with other people before I go to Canada in September. I'd really appreciate if anyone can share their experience.
Hi, do you have any idea if dependant will also receive a pre-arrival letter? Currently, my spouse received his pre-arrival letter with his UCI written on the letter. His daughter hasn't received anything yet. We are wondering if that letter also applies to his dependant. Thoughts?

Hi, I got a passport request letter dec.20, 2023, for my spouse, and we proceeded to vfs for the submission of passport last dec.27, 2023. we applied for PR and already got eCOPR last Jan. 16, 2024. I would like to ask how many weeks the passport will return after stamping? It's been 2 weeks now since the last update that my application has been in the IRCC office since Jan. 2, 2023.
So in the case of inkand applic4, if PR applicant was on temporary resident visa and when this email came, applicant was outside Canada, then applicant can still come to canada on temporary resident visa?
Hi, i am outland principal applicant of PR under Family(spouse) class and my biometrics(19 July 2023) as well as medical exam(8 aug 2023) have been successfully completed and today i received an email from IRCC stating “This email confirms that the process has been initiated for a permanent resident travel document application linked to your IRCC permanent residence portal account.” But when i tried to apply for PRTD in PR portal under form IMM 5444 i am asked to fill the PR date and the place where i got my PR which is not valid in my case as i am not a PR of Canada yet, it is really very confusing, kindly guide what to do. I am the principal applicant and I received The email confirming my PR via portal, however now I am I'm India and my work pwrmit is no longer valid so I cannot travel back to Canada and confirm my PR using the Portal. Instead I neee PR visa request letter so that I can submit the package at VFS center.

Divorced between myself and my ex-wife conducted in Canada a couple months ago without my presence (when I was outside of Canada, and still, I am not in Canada). I remember she sent me 3 pieces of cards via her relative and I signed and giver back and after few months I saw my ex-wife wedding in fb and close family of her told me that she got married to another man.
My point is I did not get a divorced confirmation document from her/the court. How can I get the divorced document? And whom do I ask, my ex-wife or the court/lawyer. But I don’t to which court/lawyer to ask because when I back to Canada I don’t want to live the city where she is located.
I require some advice/guidelines to get my divorce documents to live proper life in Canada. Thank you!

Thanks for making informative videos. Just want to ask whether I have to put same days in all of the forms or not. As I am taking time to upload forms one by one, dates beside signatures may vary. Is it advisable to put same dates on all of them forms?
better to keep the same dates. Even if the dates are within two or three days of each other, that’s fine.

Just upload a photo as per the dimensions. No need to write the details on the back. It's for paper application. The guideline is old.

They will send passport request to your wife. Then she will submit passport to VFS for stamping and get her COPR.

I wrote to IRCC 5 times (reply to same email and multiple webforms), and it has been 1.5 months but no reply. I need PPR letter now, but seems like IRCC is taking unusual time to send me the required document. What should I do can you advise me on this please?
As per the internet, they might time as long as 9 months, many people experienced that much long wait to get the right document.

We received passport submission request for me but its addressed to my husband and not me..when i sm raising the form for two way courier service with vfs global i am asked to put in my name and i am asked to pay attention to whether the name mentioned on passport submission request matches my name printed on passport..but i am confused because the letter is addressed to my husband and not me..what do i write?

Hi i am a principal application spousal sponsorship inland i got my portal 1 request to confirm my email on 28 aug and my agent replied to that email confirming my email and asked me to wait until i get my portal 2 email where they will create a portal for me for confirming my pr, it’s been over 2 weeks now i have not got any details to portal and upload my photo and address. Should I reply to ircc with my email or wait, it VO etobicoke, generally it takes between 3-5 days for portal 2. Please advise
It can easily take up to a month, sometimes even more, to get the portal credentials after replying back. lots of applicants i know who are in the same boat.
Your VO has very little to do with this, despite of what you may have heard from the experience of other applicants.
You’ll get it. Continue to wait at this point. If it gets beyond the 1 month mark, then you can reply to the email again, and additionally, reach out to them to escalate.
I received a letter saying my permanent residence application has been received by Singapore Migration Office 3weeks … I have submitted all the documents. what happens after that ?! Will be Able to go to Canada these year ?
No one can predict exactly when. The standard processing time is within 12 months. You need to wait, they will keep sending you updates once they get to each stage of the application
Hi for spousal sponsorship, do you know if I need to get a police reports for all countries I stayed for over 6 months since I was 18 years old? Or only need police report for countries I stayed for over 6 months in the past 10 years? The instructions are not very clear and sometimes not consistent. Many thanks for doing these great videos, you explained everything so clearly. They are super helpful and we really appreciate your time and efforts!
PCC is needed for any country other than canada where you spent more than 6 months after the age of 18. you dont need to worry about before the age of 18(you can explain to them in a letter about time spent before the age of 18). So for example if you stayed in USA from age 18 to age 25, you will need pcc from usa since time spent is more than 6 months in USA. For time spent before the age of 18, you dont need a PCC. if they need it still, they will request it down the line(unlikely though)

Question.: I submitted my Husband's Outland Sponsorship application. He is Citizen of India but is currently working in Qatar, if he gets passport request with Indian Address can he submit his Passport for stamping at Qatar VFS? or He have to come to India to Submit the passport for visa stamping?
he will have to submit the passport from Qatar at the VFS visa application centre in Qatar. Once he fills up the passport submission forms, he can choose where he wants the passport to be delivered. If he’s in Qatar at the time, obviously he should choose Qatar.

Hi Sir, can biometrics given for visitor visa earlier which rejected earlier be used for Spouse visa- PR outside canada

Biometrics expiry is Mar 23
If they have your biometrics already, they might use them, else they might request you to give them again for Spouse PR. But you can't give them upfront. Wait for their request.

I am in a tricky situation. I’m the principal applicant and currently in India. I received PPR passport request yesterday and COPR not generated yet on the tracker. I hold a valid visitor visa and booked tickets to travel to Canada on July 6th. (I have booked tickets before I got the PPR for PR). I hold a valid visitor visa for Canada as well.
Since I’ve already booked my tickets, would you suggest me to travel and do virtual landing or cancel tickets and submit the passport in India?

Yes, you can even apply before. Chances of acceptance are low. Look into dual intent scenario on ircc help page and see if you can make it work
