I had a '63 409 Super Sport red ragtop Impala. Lots of chrome engine parts and other custom work. I put in a 411 posi rear, an under the dash 45rpm record player and a reverberator sound system. With a bunch of Do-Wops on board, it was a cruising machine of the first order. Yes, I'm sorry I ever sold it!
She sure is beautiful. Nice ride. I would love to go for a nice cruise in something like that. Been on my bucket list since day one my dad and worked on these as I was growing up. I'm in love with the 64/63 Impala SS. Very gorgeous rides.
I miss my 63 ..went over a bridge at over 120 mph ...was going for suicide just got dumped by a girl ...God was keeping me safe ..I'm grateful the car stayed together ..and my life was amazing....thank you God
I like it. I do personally like the 64 model better but this seems nice, wheels are a love/ hate thing I guess. Wish it had a more period correct 283/327. I like it
I had a 63 impala ss that was a 327 4speed. Another thing missing on this car is the SS special trim in the concave section between the taillights. This one has the plain stainless piece

Very nice. The I-roc wheels look terrible on it, though.
That's what I said too

Awesome Impala love the Red
Nice whip, but I was hoping it had the original 409 engine but all in all beautiful car
if 63 impalas are hard to find, where do you go to look for one? and what about the 64's, 62's. or even the late 50's?

Some nice project cars here😂
If that is a true 63 SS, it should have a 409. If it has been replaced with a 350 to me that kills the value of this car. I used to have a 63 SS.
My thoughts exactly. Just another Impala without that 409. That's what made it special. The beach boys agreed and wrote the song

Ss is a trim package, you could order a ss with a 6 banger if you wanted to
very nice
Thanks
