OK, the month of Ramadan is the month when Muslims fast and do positive things, avoiding prohibitions and obeying the commandments. Eid al-Fitr is (the month of Shawwal) This month is considered an 'extension' of the month of Ramadan. Apart from that, the month of Shawwal is also called the month of victory and a sign of the return of the holy. So the difference is, Muslims fast in the ninth month of the Hijri calendar. This month, Muslims around the world fast and commemorate the first revelation that came down to the Prophet Muhammad according to Muslim beliefs. Ramadan fasting is one of the pillars of Islam. And Eid al-Fitr is a celebration of the holy day in the month of Shawwal

When iftar is fast breaking at maghrib (sun dawn) in daily basis. 1445 Hijriah muslim calendar = 2024 international calendar. Maaf lahir batin = plz forgive my mistakes. Actually there is a tradition in Indonesia after we go to mosque and pray (shalat) in the morning then we come to every our neighbor house, we all say sorry and apologize by what we doing in one year, also then we gathering with our family and big family, go to our parents house or our family in village.

Ied al Fitr or Idul Fitri is marks the end of Ramadan month. It's also the beginning of new month called shawwal (Ied fitr is held at 1st Shawwal). For meaning, ied al Fitr is means 'back to fitrah or to be holy again",
In that sense, after one month of Ramadhan we do a lot of good deeds, repent for the sin, trained ourself to resist the bad nafs (nafs means "self", "psyche" or "ego") also means efforts to refrain from all forms of lust that plague humans. Then in the month of Shawwal humans are like newborn babies again if Allah accepted their fasting, then Allah will erase their mistakes and sin and replaced with new additions of goodness. That why it's called to be holy again.

Hi Clevy, how are you my friend? Hopefully always fine ya. I'd like to answer some of your questions.
Eidl Fitr is same with IDUL FITRI. it takes from Arabic words. You pronounced it really well, nothing incorect at all the way you pronounced it. but for Arab people and internationally they pronounce it with EIDL FITR as original language but for Indonesian, Malaysian, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore and other Muslim who live in South East Asia we pronounce it as IDUL FITRI because it's more easier to pronounce for our tongue. so there is no differen meaning, you can say both ways. You didn't do any thing wrong , dont worry my friend. .😊
And the 1445 H means 1445 Hijriyah is year in Islamic Callender started from the day Prophet Muhammad and all ummah (his follower) moved from Makkah to Madinah around 1400 years ago.
The kids you see on the last part of this video are orphans who live in OrphanCare. I'm so happy Waseem didn't forget to visit and celebrate the Idul Fitri together with them, it means a lot for them because they dont have families anymore.
