    3. Dibawah DS Najib, pelbagai projek mega dirancang dan dibangunkan di Malaysia antaranya HIgh Speed Rail (HSR), Lebuhraya Pan Borneo, ECRL, menara PNB118, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Rapid Pengerang Johor, Bandar Malaysia, Forest City, Melaka Gateway, Pelabuhan Kuala Linggi, KVDT, Pocket Park KL, TBS, KTM Skypark, Sabah Railway, LRT 2, LRT 3, MRT 3, UTC, KLIA 2, River of Life, EDTS, CSR Fasa 1, Jambatan Angkat Terengganu, Terowong Sepanggar, Perlis InLand Port, Rawang Bypass, Penang Central, Empangan Triang dan beberapa projek lain lagi.

To be honest , he admited that his own people is not as progressive as malaysian chinese. seriously i am malaysian chinese myself. If you ask me between Dr. m and Mr. Lee who is the more racist one? I would say Mr. Lee . I have seen Mr.lee in an interview told the media that Malays can't be sucessful. I dont know about Singapore, but i have seen many sucessful malays in malaysia. For example, Tan sri P. Ramlee , Mokhtar Dahari and Misbun sidek is example of sucessful malays in malaysia. Of course Tun sometimes might be racist , but if Mr. Lee was Malaysia's leader the whole malaysia will be in war. As a malaysian chinese myself, i saw many videos about Singaporean chinese doing racist stuff even european people, mainland chinese, indians and malays is being scolded because of their own Singaporean chinese mistakes. Let me apologise first to say that I mean no offence & slur. Africa is dysfunctional because the former colonial masters were fools. They divided the continent up not according to their ethnic & tribal communities, and this has led to countless & needless wars & conflicts. Three countries come to my mind: Sudan, Rwanda & Zimbabwe (I don't know if Ghana has this problem. So sorry my knowledge of West Africa is very sketchy). So it is not right to compare Malaysia with African countries. Singapore's policy of giving benefits to the minority should be advocated worldwide.

Sad story about Malaysia, in which I spent my prime years. Our leaders seemed to have vision at first. They failed right in the beginning, to work out definite workable steps to achieve short term and long term goals. Our leaders had visions but failed to push through to achieve goals because the huge civil servants are stumbling blocks, they did not fully cooperated, racially biased in implementation. The failure of this 30years Vision 2020 resulted in the politicians have gotten rich, the middle class got stagnant, underperformed, the poor got poorer. Pitiful.

Too much stupidity of race supremacy is not only turning Malaysia into a pariah nation it has turned this country into a retrogressive and a failed state falling behind even those countries in this region which were formerly far behind Malaysia. Every aspect of this nation was shammed and economically weak. The very truth is when the old crook proclaimed that vision at that time many countries in this region and the far east were booming and by chance, he was at the helm and so Malaysia at that time naturally benefitted from that boom, it's not because of his skill manship which uplifts the country's economy. In truth, from behind he used that opportunity to rake a massive amount to his personal wealth. He did not change whatever was negative in fact he added in more negative reform and a trail of legacies for corruption and cronyism to bloom. The plight and mishap of this country was his doing and now he not only did not repent for his crime he returned to inflict more damage to the nation by encouraging and reinforcing more extremism and racial divide. At the rate of crime of creating a racial and sectarian divide, he is committing this is not going to look good for Malaysia.

@Leonard Carr bugis or javanese as u should know are all of the same origin ( serumpun). Malay archipelago covers malaya and southern thailand n parts of indonesia. All of them of the same race ie malay . Hvg the same religion n language and way of life. That cant be the same with chinese and indians who originate frm a long long way across the ocean and diverse in every way regarding their life n linguistic n language they use. If not for the british bringing in the indians n chinese into malaya , the only chinese n indians who drops by are the traders. They come n then leave.

    • @justice4adib675
      @justice4adib675 4 роки тому +3

@Leonard Carr India and China are oceans away from malaysia. Obviously the british brought the indians n chinese into malaysia. They did not originate frm malaysia. They initially came here as contract workers .
You cannot equate them with the malays who originated frm some parts of indonesia or southern thailand or borneo. The malay archipelago covers those places.
The indians n chinese should be thankful their ancestors decided to agree with the terms n conditions set by the malay leaders in order for them to stay in malaysia instead of going back to their mother land . Life is good in malaysia. They are given a lot of freedom to hv vernacular schools , buy properties n also freedom of their religion
I cannot understand why they are still not satisfied and even question what their own ancestors had agreed . The solution is simple. If they dun agree with those terms n conditions , they should just migrate to other places that satisfies them. Let say a business man named Ali have workers that help his company to prosper. After many yrs , Ali gv his workers a piece of land n also gv them the freedom to build up temples n churches on that land. Is it fair if after a few generations , the grandchildren of his workers start to question their rights for a " fair share"of Ali's company?
      Thats too much isnt it.

O wish he was ded n Anwar should've been PM, then eventually the Malays will become more open-minded and accept Malaysian Chinese PM or at least Malaysian Muslim who is ethnically chinese(for the sake of traditional culture of the majority here like how Buddhism of India influences Thai until Thai Chinese PM, Thaksin Shinawatra is Buddhist) like the Malaysian Muslim ethnically indian Mahathir itself. Malaysia would've developed far more ahead. We can't let Southeast Asian natives lead the country if not the country will go corrupted like Myanmar🇲🇲, the Philippines 🇵🇭 etc where most are natives who did the corruptions and cronyism n little to the economy and merits performance. Additionally when Dr M was minister of education he collapsed the education system such that a Malay student with D for donkey or E for elephant eas able to get into University, whilst A grade meritable students mainly Chinese and Indian were deemed not good enough to go yo a Malaysian University.

Mahathir was still pulling A LOT strings even after he stepped down in 2003, he has a power problem. There were factions that were still loyal to him.
Abdullah Badawi and Khairy was in their own faction, and didn't agree to all of Mahathir's policies. It was suspected that Mahathir orchestrated Badawi's downfall (despite actually doing quite okay). There were a lot of mud slinging attacks, and ending the fuel subsidy sealed Badawi's fate.
Mahathir's protégé, Najib (who is from Mahathir's faction) supported by kris wielder Hishammuddin (remember when he swore to spill Chinese blood in UMNO rally live on TV?), who is also Najib's cousin.
However, Najib didn't like how Mahathir was trying to play and manipulate Najib like a puppet, again trying to pull strings. Mahathir wants his unpopular and talentless son Mukhriz to become the next Prime Minister.
Again, Najib fought back and Mahathir doesn't like it. Najib even went as far to remove reminders of Mahathir's mark from Malaysian history (e.g. removing the Petronas Twin Towers image from the Ringgit).
That's why Mahathir really went against UMNO, he was finally cut off and lost power and influence.
Remember, that Najib also threatened to investigate all of Mahathir's corruption and cronyism. But because Najib lost, he got investigated instead.
All these UMNO-Bersatu types are just filled with corruption intent on robbing Malaysia's wealth.
So why do you think Vision 2020 didn't happen? It's because of these same types of leaders with the same mentality that keeps on becoming the government.

Malaysia will surely be able to achieve industrialisation way before 2030. Its is about 20 to 30 years ahead of all its neighbouring countries, bar Singapore which is way ahead. The concern is uniting the people of various races. Malaysia has a very segregated society, with each race speaking their own language and limited to mingling among themselves. It is clear that Malaysia has failed in uniting its 3 core and hundreds of minority races in the country. I have noticed that the indigenous Kadazan and Dusun as well as Iban, Bidayuh and other races in East Malaysia as well as the Portuguese, Dutch and English Eurasian races in Peninsular are more integrated in Malaysia, compared with the Malay, Chinese and Indians that have been segregated by ethnic based schools, political parties and local nationalism. So if the political divisions of these three core races are not addressed, even 2030 might not be realised for national unity.

Take for instance in Indonesia and Singapore, there are no longer vernacular schools teaching race based languages and all the citizens call themselves Indonesian and Singaporean. In Malaysia, the races call themselves by their race. This is a flaw in the social fabric of the society. This is a major problem that would continue to tear apart race relations, if it is not addressed. Another issue is freedom to choose religion, or the lack of it in Malaysia. If we compare our situation with that of Indonesia and Singapore, we can see where the flaw lies. There is a serious flaw in the social fabric of Malaysia and all races must play a part to resolve it, otherwise politicians will take advantage of this to sow discord among the races.

Look at Singapore & other countries with Malay people, there's no preference but those Malays work hard & have succeeded & some times even better than the other races. Just cross over to southern Thailand & see how hard those Malays there work with no preferences, donations etc. The politicians like in many other countries are the ones who are destroying Malaysia. The Malay politicians wealth is getting fatter & fatter while the ordinary Malays in Malaysia are becoming poorer & poorer. If this country is going to be run like this, with donations etc, for a certain race & others left behind, Malaysia will be the first to be in the 4th world category not 3rd world. - Space race between USA and Soviet Union - was a huge morale booster for each respective nations each time significant milestones were achieved (Russia first to space / USA first to the moon).
      - South African Rugby World Cup - Nelson Mandela believed that it was absolutely necessary for the South African team to win the world cup in order to boost national morale and patriotism during a time of huge divide and chaos.
      - Berlin Olympics during WW2 - Gave huge morale boost to Germans and their soldiers during the peak of Nazi power.
      - Maradona - He is so revered and almost treated as a God in Argentina because he gave the people hope during a time when Argentina was economically falling apart.

Now that I have your attention, I want express my thought, Malaysia success and non success is all on the government's fault and contribution really. Basically a lot of people from the 1st independence generation started from the similar footing. We were hopeful and able to put racial views behind for a while. That was until people began realizing the different culture that bred different levels of drive and attitude towards success amongst the new generation. And thus the blame game begins. How is it the government fault? They did nothing to reconcile but some parties instead started fanning more dissent.

The racial divide will become more complicated and widen if the government cannot have one national school for all Malaysians. After this we can talk about sharing the nations wealth among all races, closing the gap between the rich and the poor and have a united population as bangsa Malaysia.....no more malays, bumiputra, chinese, indians etc....they are all bangsa Malaysia ....no more race based political parties and everyone have the chance to become PM.
