You play this new hammered dulcimer beautifully. I love the sound of it ....very mellow with plenty of bass, middle, and treble tones...and it's still new. Wait 'til it matures! Thanks inviting me to see and play it (and visit with you and Steve). The dulcimer looks and sounds great even when I played it. I love that it only weighs 13 pounds even with dampers.
Love the dulcimer sound I am of Czech heritage and some of the older Czech orchestra used to play the dulcimer's but unfortunately you just couldn't go to the nearest music store and buy one so the Craftsman that they were they would build their own and in LaGrange Texas and around there several of them that was built in the 1890s are in museums now
Love this video, Ruth. I do have a question. Between about 2:39 and 4:17 on the video, you are playing with some pretty hefty hammers. Can you tell me where these hammers can be found? Thanks. Mike P. in Louisiana
Hi. What's the difference between this Master Works modification/customization and the Joshua Messick "DulciForte." Less important yet curious to know, which one came first?!

How beautiful the sound, the instrument and the lady presenting.

Awesome, thank you. If I can I’ll try to add this instrument to my arsenal.
Great demo Ruth, and a great sounding instrument.

Is there a 'note chart' available for this dulcimer?
How much does it cost
