@truenaturestormers2525 funny in apprentice stol 700mm plane video I was flying at a netball court with way more poles and wasn't a problem. I learnt my lesson trust me
So sad to see you hit this light Pole! You are anyway brave a skilled that you have been able to avoid these poles and other obsticles. Flying in spaces with many obsticle around really teaches you precise flying! This Plane looks beautifu! I hope you get her soon in the air again!!
@RCCopterLove thankyou very much. I fly in close quarters with my drone but don't normally with my planes. She certainly is a magnificent looking plane and most definitely she will be airborne soon!!
@joeglennaz Hi there 😊 thanks mate, my fault and I have to live with that. Hurt more cause it is such a beautiful plane but she will be back in the air soon
@8poundquark thanks mate. I don't sell myself as being perfect or a top gun pilot. I post for fun, not the first time I've crashed won't be the last time. It's the hobby, an expensive one haha. I fly for fun and for fun only.
@@TJMDRONES Same here my friend. Eventually we all have a mishap. I get criticism for flying off roads as well. Usually it's some twit that doesn't even fly that squeaks. You're a good man👍. Nice plane by the by!
@8poundquark I went to join a flying club but rules were if the lead plane turns then every other plane has to follow suit. That ain't enjoyment. I don't see any harm flying at the football fields, open parks or even beaches, as long as it's not populated. Thanks mate, I love the plane and it will be back in the air very soon.
@Vond-n8d thanks mate, she came through it not that bad. Obviously had to operate on the wings but everything else still works. Just waiting on a prop and she's ready to fly again
"Like" Hi from Michigan USA - I have this same plane - Flys great on its 3rd summer. My recommendation, are there any RC Clubs with fields in your area. With no lamp post and buildings. Cheers ✈
@trainroomgary Hi there Gary. I love the plane, how it looks, how smooth it is. There are rc clubs around though fees hover around the $300 mark annually and are heavily regulated, ie: must follow the lead plane, turn now etc. There is a much more open area I normally fly at and that is in my video where an fpv drone is chasing my plane
Really enjoyed watching it flying, looks nice against the skyline. Very inconvenient of them to put those poles in the way, my flying field I have to dodge sheep. Excellent camera footage, Experienced camera crew
Ah good on you for owning this one. A lesser pilot would have blamed the pole! It happens, repair, buy new or grab your E-Flite SUS ugly stick and fly again!
Nice flight until... Really, you need to find a place to fly that has less obstacles. PS. I much rather have crashes than flay-aways (of which I've had three) never to see the plane again.
@BillKisel totally agree. It was a spur of the moment decision to fly there. I've had one fly-away and yes, a worse feeling it is. One tip on that though is to write your phone number on the plane in case someone honest finds the missing plane
why don't you fly your planes in a school yard or park? This is the worst place you could fly those planes. And how were you gonna land the plane? Standing on the street? I mean you're always broke? Crash #16? Go figure. I feel you can fly pretty decently, but if you wanna keep your planes, stay off the F'n street. Your money...
@Bad80y1 I normally fly in a huge park near where I live. This was a spur of the moment decision passing through this area. Yeah, obviously I wasn't going to be standing on the street when landing it. Crash 16 over about 5 years, some were mechanical failures, not all pilot error. I get your point though and it is lesson learnt, as I said in the video I owned the mistake
My first thought, the light poles, and then, darn it.
@truenaturestormers2525 funny in apprentice stol 700mm plane video I was flying at a netball court with way more poles and wasn't a problem. I learnt my lesson trust me
SR22T is my favorite plane right now, great flyer! Get her fixed up and hit the skies again!
@@bossmandeen it was such a smooth and beautiful plane to fly til.... I understand why it's your favourite at the moment
Nice looking plane, well before the crash 🥴 Good on you mate for putting up the video. Hope all goes well after surgery!

Bravo for posting 🎉. Not every flight is perfect. Don't mind the trolls. They spend more time punching keys than flying 😂

Nice flying and commentary. A realistic appraisal of your flight. Thank you.
@geofkane2365 thanks mate, appreciated. I don't proclaim to be an expert, just give my thoughts as I'm experiencing the flights

I've hit many poles, now I moved onto very slow flying micro planes, much more relaxing.
@frankienv3906 I tend to agree it's more relaxing. In my apprentice stol 700mm video I flew around much more light poles and I was fine
Those light poles make me nervous! edit: I wrote that before the crash!
@azzir325 haha. Too keen to fly and I paid the price
@@TJMDRONES Been there. Done that!

I was thinking the same thing, terrible place to fly. It was a lovely looking and flying plane, too bad.

I keep telling camera she's got a career but won't listen!!
that sucks, sorry to hear that mate.
@KyleGrimes-qs8sp it's part and parcel of the hobby. Even the best crash at times. I wasn't paying attention so I owned the error

@5280Recreation yep, lesson learnt. Took delivery of a new Cirrus today so will fly her this weekend....at a park!!

@TJMDRONES LoL. So technically I've had 4 fly-aways one was returned because I had an ID label on it with phone # and other stuff.
Terrible location to be fair. I think most would crash at some point flying near so many street lights.
@@Dingdongboxing I totally get that and agree. Was just too keen to get it in the air. Lesson learnt
That was not safe mode, plane doesn't turn that tight in safe mode
Seriously you need a better place to fly.
