Do you think those holes in the metalwork are just for show? where are your airholes in the box???

Looks neater than before, Personally I would have mounter the box much higher with much shorter high and low voltage cables. Good effort though

Nice clean install and improved level of safety for the mains power connection to the power supply. I would offer that your system may be at risk of overheat failure if you have an unexpected mains power loss, because your system will not be able to clean or cool itself with a proper shutdown cycle. I'm also curious why so many structural installs (Shed, garage, homes, etc.) ignore the need to route both of the combustion ports externally when the unit is mounted indoors? This is very inefficient considering the use of the air in the heated space to support combustion and the negative pressure created by constantly exhausting the heated air through the combustion chamber, which in turn demands a constant flow of fresh air be pulled into the heated space through the crevices of the structure. There is a good reason the combustion ports and fuel port are located so closely together, In a vehicle all of these are routed externally, it's how they were designed to be installed and used.

You might as well pipe the burn intake to the box with a decent air filter intake to the box the power supply will last longer and be more efficient if it's cooler

Personally I would have put the 12 volt terminal block mounted inside the heater and insert a proper cable feedthrough thing in the hole. Now you have wires with single isolation through the metal case. Not very good if you ask me.

Not related to this video, how did you shield the exhaust going through the timber? I’ve just built a dunster house Avon cabin and I’ll heat it with a diesel heater I’ve just bought. I can’t decide on whether to have the heater in the cabin or outside…the only thing stopping me having it inside is the problem with the exhaust!

The power supply unit will over heat in that box. Lets say the temperature is 23c in your shed. In your junction box it's going to be double that!

Overly elaborate really and expensive. Clip cable to wall and cover supply with a tupperware box. or similar. Ensue the box is big enough to let air circulate for cooling the supply, drill some holes in box where power supply fan is so it's ventilated.

I'd be more impressed if you ripped out that diesel heater and installed a mini split.
