The fact that the color of the fire showed who was casting with the book is cool. The one section you noticed go from a major to a minor also showed Rachel, when she reclaimed the book, 'uncast' Eli's spell...you could see his green smoke trails collapsing back into the fire.
I never noticed Eli’s green mojo being sucked back into the flames! Every time I think I’ve caught all the little nuances I either watch it again or I read a comment that shows me I haven’t been paying attention!
Cesar swapped voices with Geoff and Rachael, but it was Layne singing Geoff's part, showing that Layne can hit some seriously low notes too.
Once again, we delve into Layne's brain. And the chaos is deliciously grand fun.

Someone pointed out that if you look at the flames when Layne takes the book the flames go orange but also you see a small hint of green and together for a second it looks like the color of a carrot 😂 Layne just had to get a carrot in it somehow 😆

Layne calls this passion project "Mountain King 2.0." The trolls are now officially know as the Grundels, their first names currently being their colors. At the end of the In the Hall of the Mountain King video, they ended up banished by the Violet Warrior Queen to the Underworld. Fortunately, Green-Grundel, the clevel one, found a way out. Of course, he brought his friends with him. When the Grundels reappear, they are in a new and mysterious part of the forest where they encounter the Dazzling White Witch. While the VP characters are the same, there are differences in costuming and makeup, most notably with Layne and Geoff. Yes, Cesar steals Geoff's voice then Rachel's voice, not singing the section himself. The color of the fire shows who is casting the spell. During the CanCan segment. the music does shift from major to minor as Rachel reclaims the book from Eli, undoing his spell. You can see his green smoke collapsing back into the fire. At the end, she conjures up everyone's colors in the smoke to banish them.
Great to have her back and VoicePlay is just astounding.

Just like In The Hall of the Mountain King, every time I watch/hear this I love it more. This is another one that I’m going to keep coming back to just for the heck of it, like, forever.

Though great, the lip burbling for comedy to a capella isn´t exclusive to Voiceplay. The King Singers did it often and their harmonies always were on point.
