Like, you could dress it, sound design it, layer it, give it a premium music track with height, width and depth, package it; but the edit calls for a less than serious nature. It calls to average Joe, who’s 51 who doesn’t want to see that 8k color spectrum… he wants M.A.S.H. White wash? When you edit, it’s always for an intended audience right?
That is a GREAT question and deserves a video of its own! One tip would be to bring in the intro of a new track mid-scene. Try and start the new track on a shot that benefits from the emotional lift of a music change.

Great question! One tip: instead of simply fading out the music when you want it to end, try using the end of the track even if you have to insert a cut in the music to match your timing.
