On April 21, 2024, the Board appointed Michael Healy as Chief Restructuring Officer of Fisker (OTC: FSRN). Mr. Healy has extensive experience which includes advising companies, creditors, shareholders and other interested parties on restructuring transactions both in Chapter 11 and in non-bankruptcy driven resolutions.
This is quite impressive. Much more than I thought based in prior reports. This unique feature isn't talked about enough IMO, especially at places like Stocktwits.
Someone has to start in order for improvements to be made and efficiencies gained. Great job Fisker for begiinigbthehipeformoreimproved solar roofs years down the road.
i think solar charging on EV cars is so underrated, just image you got stuck in middle of nowhere, and cant charge a car, just leave it in the sun for few hours and you will get some juice to at least get to nearest charging station, it can be a life saver..
Ey, It would be awesome a 100% outside parking for a different week weather, sunny, cloudy..maybe we could know in real world how it performes (of course I understand that a new car should sleep in the garage, haha) Great video.
Fisker should offer an accessory of stand alone solar panels for those people that park in a garage or under a shade structure and yet want to utilize the solar charging capabilities of the car.
and no BK announced so far. I read in an article that BKs are usually announced on Sundays and that was the reason for extending to the 21st kkk WROOOONG, like 90% of the things written about Fisker Inc.
Cool test. Thanks for this. I know some call Solar Sky a gimmick but I think it's one of the more innovative aspects of Fisker that made me want to buy one. Sure, it may only be a few extra miles per day but the thinking is right. And it's a few extra miles than a vehicle without it. Curious on why it shows 0% in partial shade too.
@@Ocean1_FSR I suspect that the solar array has no bypass diodes in it. It used to be a common problem with solar panels that were part shaded until bypass diodes became the norm.
So Sean from Fiskerati also was showing the total range and KW while he was driving. At one point it showed 0%. He too was baffled , but toggled to live to life time and eventually it kicked back in . This is also what happens to me. But, I always thought the test would be that the battery let’s say, has 50% charge… then you leave it in the sun for a few hours and see if it’s at 52% or whatever. The total range and total KW is what I always thought was how many the car got with actually driving. Does the solar panels not charge the battery? If it does then we should see the battery charge go up no? Like I mentioned above. Put the car in the sun like you did and mark the current battery charge aka:50% then come back and see if it’s up a few percentages. Unless the solar side has nothing to do with actually charging the battery? This I don’t know
@@Ocean1_FSR did you start off seeing the battery charge level? And then let it sit for a few hours in the sun to see what the charge was after? Maybe try that then we’d really know if it does anything. Otherwise it’s all just software gobbledygook😂
so you say the solar panel does indeed charge the big battery, but also say you'll check the comparison next time. so what did you actually witness to say it charges the big battery? There's a video that shows the car losing battery charge while sitting in the sun despite the software claiming to "add mileage". I've always been curious about the roof, and convinced it's all marketing with no real utility.
most probably the micro inverter needs a min.voltage for start up..........if you would have rolled back where its bit lighter it would have sarted up........

That solar thing is so cool!
I will do a bunch more tests

They must be using some type of solar controller that limits it. I simply don't know. I would love an explanation

Yes, the solar panel does indeed charge the big battery 🔋

@@mofoyes234 I know my mileage went up, but I didn't record that part. I will do that next time.
does the car have to be on for the solar to work? or do you still get solar energy produced while parked and off?
Either, works all the time.
Hey Check out the sec filling pls
I'm driving won't be home for a couple hours but I'll check it out soon as I get home
@@Ocean1_FSR Ty for your work. Truly appreciate it. 🙏
Does solar stop at what you have preset the charge for battery, if it’s set at 80%
Any news on the note holder or are we just going to find out when the stock market opens tomorrow?
My best guess would we get an 8k in the morning
Fisker just filed an 8K, Monday April 22, 2024 late PM!
Uploading a video right now
Kentucky is nice!
Does your fisker have garage opener?
No, none of them do. I use an old remote
@Ocean1_FSR oh dam.

I am thinking it has some type of solar controller limiting it, but that is a shot in the dark.
do you know whether Fisker Inc. is obliged by law to public harald yesterday's outcome?
No, but they would be obligated to announce anything new
Is there a rumor of a Stellantis merger? The meeting on the 24th seems canceled.
There is a rumor but it's just that, a rumor

7 days to restart production!
Let's hope
@@Ocean1_FSR LOL, nice one!!
It’s too bad that Fisker doesn’t have answers to these basic questions of the solar abilities in a car that they market as being supported by solar
I noticed this morning while driving to church that I saw as low as 13% on the solar percentage. I will keep messing with this until I figure it out.
8 days to resume production!!
Let's hope and pray
@@Ocean1_FSR I won't pray for such a mundane thing, but for sure I'll cross all my fingers and toes! 🤞🤞
Does your key fob still open/close the tailgate window? Mine stopped working with the 2.0 update. Not sure if it's just me.
Mine never did. Let me ✅. Nope, still doesn't. I still don't have the 3rd update for the fob though so maybe that will fix it.
I called fisker and they said they know of the issue and will address if in a update. Thanks for the reply.
I live in Vegas and do better. Suns always out
