@@catalystreactionsbw Sure thing. Definitely opened my eyes up to the importance of Ergos and suspension. The trick with the brake levers....super cool.
Had the 09 version of this bike did suspension upgrades and big bore kit with better rubber and it was a blast to ride glad to see kawasaki went up a few ccs
If you are asking if stock suspension will work, you are on the fine edge of exceeding capability. If you are considering it, sit on it and have someone take a picture of the rear shock to show how much travel is lost with you sitting on it.
Hi Mr Dave, i have been riding my klx250s about 8 years and convert into 17 inch wheel sm. Im 150lbs with all my gears. The rear shock is all the way soft... Can i stiff the preload from 108mm to 120mm without adjust compression and rebound... Please help me Your cooperation is highly appreciated
You can turn preload stiffer but you must have 12-15mm static sag, You can also check the shock shaft to see how much travel you are using:- ua-cam.com/video/KeZT1LCY8CU/v-deo.html
Nice one! Mr. Williams, hows the tyre tests coming along? Have you made any progress? I haven’t seen any new videos, maybe I’ve somehow missed them as I’ve only watched 1, 2 and 3. Can’t wait for more. Thanks in advance. 👍😎🇦🇺
How easy can you see your oil level??? Sitting cold I can’t tell if the oil level is all the way down or not… I have only had it a few days and has 9 miles on it
I'm new to riding and I'm looking for a bike but I'm very short I'm 5 foot flat 130bls what would be the best type of bike for me really like supermoto but they are very tall
Hello Clifford. You can lower any motorcycle so you have the opportunity to buy what you need and then get lowering links. Take a look at www.soupysperformance.com
@@catalystreactionsbw I'm not sure on a different video or chat someonexsaid that it does have front something . The only other bike I looked at was an rc 390 . So one of these bikes has it maybe it was the other bike but .

Correct on both counts, and I prefer straight talk as you can see :) Thanks for watching!

Dave I am seriously considering this bike as a starter. Can it be adjusted properly for a 280lb rider?

Hi Dave I cannot turn my preset to soften my rear on my Versys 300 ABS. Does my bike need to be up on something to do this??
Thanks. Dan
Hi dan. Try putting the bike on the side stand to unload the adjuster. Should move easily.
I have the same exact bike I just need to get stiffer springs for the forks and the rear suspension

Ok mr dave i already adjusted on the rear spring preload..that was pretty much good on rear...but for front fork put down about 25-30mm

If the spring is inside the fork it is impossible to see the oil level. Spring and spacer removed make it much easier.

i heard there is a adjustable part under the triple clamp
For the adjustment you refer is this would be the fork height for geometry in changing fork position or a steering damper?

I just grind the pins off. Never had anything spin.
Fr? so even at the most aggressive pull on the throttle no spin? Not like anyone's gonna go hulk mode on the throttle, just making sure
It's a shame, a Dealership doesn't take a minute & set up bike WITH the customer?
Or they charge way to much to do it
Or the factory builds adjustment into the bikes, poor design if you have to re drill something.
