I was devastated when I heard she passed, sobbing, straight to grief. Meanwhile as a Seattle grunge guy I hadn't processed Chris Cornell passing. I think I felt betrayed by him or whatever but I didn't properly grieve him until after Delores was gone and their passing's were almost a year apart. Grief is weird that way.

When I was young like 7 years old or something, I didn't speak english... So all these nostalgic songs from back then, I never knew their meaning. I just loved the way it sounded and the way it made me feel!!! This one could easily be on a reel of my memories as a child (even though I know now it is a breakup song or something like that xD)

I'm pretty sure what you're hearing Brad is what's known as the Irish lilt, where there accent lifts softly. Try Sinead O'connor 'Nothing compares to you'. Another great Irish voice.

It’s a mix between a yodel and keening. Keening is like a lament for the dead or singing with that grief in your voice. Very popular with Irish singers years ago

She broke many an Irish heart when she died and all around the world. She also sang with Pavarotti live in Italy which might interest you. Keep up the great reactions.
